Went to Elysee nightclub - across the road from Burger King and TGI Friday's in the centre of town near the top end of Makarios III St.

Beautiful girls and good service from waiter. This place has improved tremendously.

Charge CYP 150 for girl - she can only go after 2;30am otherwise the local cops arrest the girl for visa violation (she is legally supposed to work till 2.30). (In the old pre-EU days, girl could leave even at 10pm).

Played it safe. Went to Cleopatra Hotel and arranged for her to come in a cab.

The standard time is from 2a.m till 9a.m sharp for a standard charge of 100bucks for every club in the North including Imparator for every girl of your choice..

Tried different Cabret ( StripClubs) it is same story every where.
5 CYPfor the drink, 12-13CYPfor the lady drink, and 120 - 150CYP for the girl to be taken out.

This is too expancive, 1 CYP = 2.2 US $
and you can only take the girl out after 2:30 AM and till 6 AM.

Instead I went to the Turkish side, No problem at border,
Paid Taxi 4 CYP to go to IMPORATOR it was arround 6 PM paid 25 CYP for an hour of encounter, they providedthe room also. The manager was saying for the noght is is US $ 100, but again can only take thegirl after 1:00AM. Still much better deal than on the South side.

Also called the same taxi 4 CYP back to boarder. and entered (walked in) on the south side, arround 8 PM.

Just remember the boarder is opened from 7 am till mid night.

I will go to north side for the over night stay durring this weekend.

I should have pressed the point, that I was there as a soldier and spent time in the cabarets almost exclusively from 20:00-23:00.

My report is accurate as of three weeks ago, although the guys still there tell me not much has changed until today. Also the report concerns it seems only Greek soldiers during these hours. I had no idea prices were that outrageously different during the night.

As for sex in these establishments, sex WAS to be found in Elysee, but not in Luxor. Still, this holds for Greek soldiers (short haircut, speaking greek without the cypriot accent and looking more or less under 30 makes you eligible for the status) during the early hours of opening. Elysee was mine and a thousand other soldiers place, packed with them during the aforementioned hours. You're right about Luxor, no sex, no soldiers.

With out having any intention to offend anyone I would like to make some corrections, because I believe that Panda’s information are a little bit out dated.

Maybe my information are not as “ accurate “ as the information of a local guy, but the last 14 years that I am traveling to Cyprus, I dare to say that I acquaint a good “industry” knowledge.
In all these years I stick to the top, if I am allowed to say, establishments that according to my opinion are
Play Boy in Limassol
Dantela in Larnaca
Elysse and Luxor in Nicosia

In all these places, apart from my personal “ hunting “ I used to “entertain” customers.

So to make a long story short

In all these establishments there was no sex provided in house. It used to be private dance in private rooms but no sex.
In the “lower class” establishments, if there was any kind of “ additional services” this is something I don’t know.

In Play Boy and Elysse there was always the policy “ All included” meaning that you were paying approximately 120- 150 CYP and in this price it was lady’s drinks plus her fee aprox 30 CYP for the “ after hours” personal entertainment or 50 + 30 the “ afternoon sections “
A tip is expected if not requested.

Elysse was NEVER soldier friendly.

Prior to it’s renovation there used to be a couple of small curtain separated rooms in the upper left corner. This was for private dances but mainly to assure discretion of the various well-known local people.

This area does not exist any more

Luxor and Dantela have a slightly different policy meaning that you have the 5 drinks rule and then it’s up to girl and to customer to finalize the “price” of the deal.
More or less you end up to the same price scale 80-85 CYP bar fine plus your drinks and 40 to 50 CYP for the girl depending on the looks, performance and individuals generosity.

An other comment on their work permits: Depending on their country of origin and the contract, they have 3 or 6 months visa and work permit. Some of them they go for a month in Lebanon and then they come back to Cyprus.

I will agree that all girls come in Cyprus on their free will but what is important to know is, that there are very few agencies that arrange how the girls will be distributed.
The most beautiful ones with some English skills go to the top establishments.

An incident that I saw just two weeks ago out side of Luxor. One of the waiters delivered one girl to a customer’s car just out side of the club. As soon as the car started to move, two police officers with civilian clothes, stopped the car and start asking the driver “ how much he bought the girl “. Both the girl and the customer end up to a police van which was parked on the next street. While I was walking to my Hotel (Holliday Inn) I noticed that in the same van there were already an other two couples.
From what I heard from my local friends this is a new policy to stop the trade. As the girls papers are generally in order , the police choose the method of “humiliating” the customer .

Follow-up: I almost forgot another one of my favorites, so here it is.

LUXOR. Same street as most (actually a by-street, but you can't miss it). Very luxurious, great choice. Mostly eastern. No special soldier prices, 6 CYP for your drink, 12 CYP for the lady, 20 CYP for private session, but only lap dance, no sex, or so they say. I didn't try that, but I did take a girl out. Cost me 120 CYP after regularly tipping the waiter at each visit. Normal price is 150 CYP. Then it's 40 CYP more for the girl. That is after the bar closes at around 3:00. I would definitely recommend Xenia (amazing ass).

Having spent a few months in Nicosia as a soldier, I have had time to discover the cabarets of the city. They are numerous to begin with and of various standards. The usual deal is you pay for your drink what you would pay in a regular bar, double or triple that for the lady's drink, colored water, which actually buys you 5-10 minutes with the girl to spend from chatting to fondling and kissing depending on the girl, time and day. Then you can go for a private session with the girl in a SMALL backroom and fuck her for 30-40 CYP.

Before presenting some of the cabarets in detail, I would like to make a brief note: Most of them open up early (around 20:00) for Greek soldiers who have to go back to their camp around 23:00. They also have special prices until that time, as they can count on the quantity of returning soldiers rather than their big wallet :-)

ELYSEE. Entrance facing the Burger King. My favorite, great choice, great place, the deal for soldiers is free drink and 5 CYP for lady's drink. The private session costs 30 CYP. As in all cabarets, experiences have varied from just chatting, girl on my lap, rubbing, trying to get me to take a private session and even french kissing and riding me on top of my pants and almost coming (the girl, not me). Girls from ex-URSS, many knockouts!

BTW, another small note: The girls get peanuts (a few cents) for every drink and around 10-15 CYP for every "private". Given the fact that most go to Cyprus on their free will and are there for the money, they will try to get as many "privates" as possible.

TROCADERO. Eleutheria's Sq. on your left hand side facing the City Hall. Good one, eastern and asian girls. Not a luxurious one, but girls keep rolling and you are sure to find one you like. Private is 30 CYP.

ROXY. On the street parallel to Trocadero (as many others). Beautiful place. Wood decor, mostly eastern girls. Private is 32 CYP. If you go any time soon, try Natasha, stunning blonde!

Another thing that come to mind is girls have work permits for 6 months, after which they must return to their homeland. They can come back to Cyprus again after another 6 months. But don't worry, they rotate regularly :-)

MIAMI. Same street as Roxy. Mostly eastern girls. Seems less tight on girls, no problem to exchange telephone numbers in there. Private is around 30 CYP as usual.

AMBASSADOR. Same street as the other two. Mostly eastern girls. Good choice. Try Aliona, although it's more expensive ther, 40 CYP and a little more hurried service.

Well, these are the cornerstones of the cabaret galaxy of Nicosia, but many more await to be discovered, luxurious or not. I hope this gives you a good starting point.

PS. It seems there are some new measures these last few months, following Cyprus adhesion to the EU. They are trying to somehow regulate the whole thing and be more strict or even try to abolish (sex during) "privates". Anyway, you can always arrange to take the girl to your place and my guess is, if they ban "privates" it's going to be a lot cheaper too, which would be a good thing (now, you have to hand 60-150 CYP to take the girl out).

i just came back from a 3 days visit to cyprus and here is my story.

sunday night i arrived in larnaca airport and i was picked up from a local friend – colleague. as we were heading straight to a dinner with some partners and colleague’s. i only had time to confirm that a couple of places were still alive in nicosia. my accommodation has been arranged to holliday inn / nicosia, just in the heart of action.

i finished dinner at 23.00 hours and dropped to my hotel in order to un-pack and have some rest.

in less than an hour i was out in order to perform my duty, to investigate thoroughly the market and prepare my action plan.

just behind my hotel and with in the limits of old city there are numerous, i dare to say more than 50 bars, cabarets or what ever you call them.

all of them start working from 20.00 hours and stay open till 03.00 hours.

the bars are places with 3-5 ladies being there to drink on customers account. all of them were normally dressed and in terms of looks nothing to write home about. obviously all girls can be “taken away” for a fee, but this kind of environment is not really my cup of tea. in the same area there were almost 10 cabarets. i checked 5-6 of them. each one of them had 5-8 ladies available. the impression i got is that the cabarets on this side of nicosia cater more to locals and to military forces. one of them has a sign at the door stating, “eldyk (greek military forces) drinks 2cyp ladies drinks 5 cyp “ cheap isn’t. in all places i used my good old trick “ i am looking for my friends” and i avoid having a drink. in one i just had a beer in order to gain time and survey the available talent. in less that 10 minutes i decided to go as there was a group of obviously reach but uncivilized people making a lot of noise, behaving like animals and demanding all girls to their table while ordering bottles of champagne. ok guys i know i am becoming very selective but i cannot stay somewhere surrounded by assholes. the girls in that place were ok. the place is facing the holiday inn, second street on the right at the basement of a block of apartments. i choose the place because it looked brand new, clean and safe. to make a long story short i decided to head towards the new part of the city and the famous elyse and crazy horse. in terms of directions just walk opposite from holiday inn. both clubs are in the same block. elyse used and, i confirm, that still is the best of the best. entered the place around 01.00 hours greeted by xxxxxx and leaded to a table. 1st positive comment the place underwent an extensive internal renovation, since my last visit two years ago. in no time the first girl approached me and with in 30 seconds she went from what is your name to lets go to bed together. as i didn’t like her attitude i send her back asap. the second, a rather boring one followed the same route. i started to feel uncomfortable; as i had already two “attacks” with in two minutes and while my drink was still in the way. the waiter realized the situation and waves the girls to calm down. at that time there were an other 5 to 6 customers in that place. and then an angel came. shock!!! i never saw a beauty like that in my 43 years of life. it wasn’t the body but the eyes. politely with her limited knowledge of english she tried to strike a friendly conversation. a 25 years old school teacher from a small village of moldova. i ordered her a drink and we started to chitchat for nothing and everything. second drink and while she had to perform her stage dance the waiter approached me in order to inform me for the services available. 150 cyp for the night including 3 ladies drinks, or an afternoon appointment for 90 cyp. i thank him and i inform him that i was not to take any girl with me as i was too tired and i was there just to see "what was going on" and to have a drink. my girl came back and we continue our conversation and we finished our drinks. while leaving, i promised her that i would come back tomorrow. total bill 30 cyp just for my lady’s drinks and my two beers were from the house. i thank the waiter giving him a 5 cyp tip.

next stop crazy horse, miss leaded from the outdated photos at the entrance, i entered the place and i show a girl just starting a pole dance while i opened the door as i saw no customers but just a dozen of ladies falling asleep. i excuse my self and back to my hotel for the necessary rest.

day two – monday. a hectic day toped with a business dinner. midnights, back in my room, get rid of the business outfit and off i go to elyse.

I've been living in the southern side of Nicosia for about 3 years, although I don't get out that much, here is my take on the action.

There are many "cabarets", (euphemism for clip-joints), to be found in Nicosia. A lot of them are centred around the old town, but a few can be found further out of town. There are also quite a few bars and pubs that have ladies available.

Prices seem to be anything but consistent. A top cabaret will probably cost you at least £100 CYP for the girl, plus about £15 CYP for each lady’s drink that you buy, and then the girl will probably expect a tip on top of that. You will also be expected to stay until closing time, which is around 2am during the week or 3am at the weekend.

Cheap it isn't.

There are a few places that have a 3 drink rule. You buy the girl at least 3 lady’s drinks, then it's up to you to strike a deal with the lady after closing time.

With those kind of prices it’s not surprising to learn that sneak-outs tend to happen on a fairly regular basis. The management of these places realise this and tend to watch the girls fairly closely. However, most of the girls have cell phones and can not be watched 24 hours a day. Some of the girls even go freelance during the day.

One girl that I had been seeing on a semi-regular basis agreed to a sneak-out for £20 CYP, that lasted for about 6 hours.

Most of these places seem to be set-up to rip-off tourists especially visiting business men. If you are a regular or a well known local, the prices seem to go down. For example, you may find that if you pay for the lady’s drinks, then you will not be charged for your own drinks (assuming that you are drinking the local beer or something like that).

It’s a strange place, but just like anywhere else, there are bargains to be found. Happy hunting.

To Johan007, this is not the Cyprus I know. On Greek side all the towns have many night clubs / strip bars. Full of Eastern European girls. Usually good standard, drinks for girls very reasonable and very safe. Normal procedure is that girls will go back with you for the night when club closes at 3 in the norning. You pay club US$ 100 or $ 150 and give the girl CYP 40.
I have always got excellent girls and they have always stayed until noon next day. Action in Cyprus is not so good for 1 hour quickies but compares favourable with most for overnights.

a working collegue of mine went to Cyprus this year (in September).(Greek side) AS he is NOT familiar with this noble board I will place some info about it here. Besides that I didn't want to know all of my collegues what kind of "hobby" I have..LOL.

Here are the basics.
Cyprus can be described as an overrated,overpriced place for SW action. Many Russian,Ukraine and even Romanian/Bulgarian hookers in the large sea resorts. During wintertime (November- April) in htese places there is not a living **** to be fucked..!!!:-(
During Summertime the place is "ocupied" by Russian mob. This shows in all sections. Bars,brothles,even disco's. Most of that are owned from Russians with a greek/cypriotic strawman.
On the Turkish side it's hard to get by. NO info and probably NO SW at all!!

Local pussie is hard to get infact even hard to find as many young girls are studying/working in Greece,Israel or in Italy.Besides that Cyprus (again the Greek side) has a steady economy and there (seems) no need for girls to get out of their pants for a few $$$$ or €€€€.....

I'm sorry to see the lack of info on this city. As I post this message I'm in the business class lounge at Larnaca Airport after a 36 hour visit. My source for assistance here is a tax driver named Andreas (every other person has the same name!) who can be reached via his cell phone at 99-641385. Just like my last visit we went to the Club Elysee in downtown Nicosia, about 5 minutes from the Hilton. This place has some of the hottest Eastern European women that I've ever seen. They come from strange places--like Moldovia--not just Russia. I use this club because they open around 9 or 10 PM and have a few girls that you can take out right away. No BS of sitting around buying rip off drinks. The rules with the girls are never quite clear; it's the Russian mafia in my opinion. Anyway, you have to be prepared to spend over USD200, but that should cover all night long with some girls. This time I brought back a 24 year old named Luda. She was probably around a 7, but had an incredibly tight body. There was NO problem at all bringing her into the Hilton. I've also seen taxi drivers or the Club Elysee manager delivering girls right to the rooms. This girl was extremely nice and sweet.
