The doorman was nice and at least told us there were only 4 girls there and that there were four customers so it might be a waste of our time to come in. Not much action in Brno forum so I thought I would add my 2 cents.

Was there for two nights. Very nice city. Not overrun by tourists like Praha. Some nice looking women walking the streets.

I have been mongering for a long time and this was one of the most awkward things I have ever experienced. There are about 12-15 girls working and they all take a spin on the pole and then they all went against the wall around the club and all just sat there and stared at us. Literally just stared and no one was talking. A couple were laughing. I just played it off and got a drink. Then the house mom (could be Caitlyn Jenner's sister or maybe former member of the East German female rugby team; she was available for escort too and very nice but. No) told us about the fees. I wanted to get out of there pronto and into a room so I was anxious to pick a girl quick. Last week I was in Brno and had the chance to visit some of the clubs. I used to like Ali Baba when it was at its old address, but at the new address, I have yet to choose a woman there during my visits. This was no exception. There was one dyed blond, who looked attractive and she was the only one who did not smoke, but she wanted me to pay 500 crowns more for doing oral on her, so I decided to try some other clubs.

There were only 3 girls there and none was attractive. Welwett also only had 3 girls. I found one attractive. There were no customers, it was a small place and there was a 300 crown entrance, so I would not recommend the place.

Made my usual annual trip to Brno last week. Alibaba. Standard "strip" bar. Prices at Kz2400 quite high for 1 hour. For that type of money in Manila I can get a girl to stay with me all night. Well I did partake of the talent. Then next night went to check out Soho. Took Vanessa for 2 hours at CZ 3000. Much better price. V was very warm and eager to please. Got to search for the Czech guy on the board (forgot his name now) whose post convinced me to come to Brno (opining that it is best city in the country for hobbying) and thank him! I was looking at Plzen as a getaway after reading positive posts on Club Pamela there, but he had tried in every city in the country and called Brno tops.

And it was once a mongering mecca whose popularity apparently ruined it. But Brno, while it has some lovely buildings and is a MUCH more friendly and less overcrowded city, has something else seemingly lacking in Prague: loads of sexy and friendly Moravian babes who will actually smile and look at you walking around town. I suspect the old adage "familiarity breeds contempt" is at play here as being an American has cachet here as we are a rare breed indeed.

Before discussing Stripclub Ali Baba and Monica from Ostrava, two key points of logistics:

1) Getting here from Prague is super easy either by train or bus. Just about 2 hours (200kms). I drove so maybe that was a bit quicker. The motorway is like the autobahn (and many locals drive just as fast as on the AB in Germany; Wien (Vienna) is only half as far as Prague.

2) Hotel: If you can afford about $100, the Austrian owned and operated 4 star Grand Hotel is excellent and in an unbeatable location, right across the street from the train and bus station. Usually that is a seedy area but NOT here; and there are at least 3 stripclubs within 5 minutes walk as well as the Tabarin Disco

Which is reputedly full of semi pros (I'll go there tomorrow night). After midnight the receptionist leaves and you enter lobby with room key card (ie no walk of shame or joiner fees!)

Tonight I went to Ali Baba, the top strip club in town which site right next to the main police station. No gypsies or panhandlers seen here (unlike in Prague).

They will take Euros, they suggest it in fact, but at a HORRIBLE rate of exchange (no issue as I got Koruna from ATM at Prague airport). More English spoken than I expected.

About 12 dancers ranging from 6 to 8. 5 (waitress is a solid 9 but seems unavailable). Usually 2 girls on stage at a time, some strip nude others just to undies and lingerie. Only saw 2 other customers despite it being a Friday night at 11 to 1am (prime time you would think). One guy took a girl within minutes.
