A few months ago I visited Show Park Market. I thought it was a pretty decent place.

However, I was short on cash. And when I asked for an ATM the staff recommended that instead of me walking out to the ATMs outside I should use their card terminal at the bar. I gave them my credit card and they said they also required my ID to process to transaction. They then wrote down some information from my ID to the card slip.

I would normally never have done this as I value my privacy very, very highly. However, I was quite drunk, stupid and easily persuaded.

Now I have pretty bad anxiety that I have messed up. I mean, Show Park seems like a legit place so I would think it's extremely unlikely that they would scam me. (That kind of reputation would of course make them loose all their customers and force them to close).

But is there any way my personal information can get distributed and my visit can become publicly known? I don't know what kind of information they could store about me and how they would store it? How professional are the people behind Show Park?

Would be very, very thankful for your serious input in this matter because I feel quite bad at the moment.

There is always a concern whenever you hand out your credit card information and your personal ID to boot. I don't know if you have a service that monitors your credit rating, Davein, but you might want to look into it. First you should probably just contact the credit card company to ensure they monitor any suspicious charges. You may be safer just cancelling the card and applying for a new one. There has been a story many years ago about a person getting a massive charge on their credit card at a club. I have used my credit card at AAA Exclusive before, without issue, but I never did use it for a cash advance. K5 Relax had a chip system where you would pay for everything on the chip and then settle the tab upon exiting. Never a problem with that either. For peace of mind, just contact your credit card company. If fraud is to be committed, it won't be generated at Show Park. They would pass your information onto others and try to do it by some other means. It would be better to explain this to your credit card company than to deal with the mess that may be identity theft. Which piece of ID did you give the staff in addition to your credit card? Just take all the necessary measures to ensure you are protected. All the best!

You are better off having your trip cancelled. The girls are on summer vacation, but the privats will continue to put them on the rotation roster. Girls disappear during these summer months. When they are back in university come September, they will be there in town. All girls need money for tuition and expenses. That is the perfect time for you to swoop in.
