Okay! Short trip to Prague so before I went I RTFF. Armed with the info I had a head start on what to expect and where to go but no matter how much pre-reading you do sometimes you have to see it for yourself to fully appreciate what people are saying. In the airport on the way home I resolved to write a comprehensive report, put all the facts dotted around the various posts into one post. Only to find Beerdrinker had beaten me to it, here are a few points to add to his post of distinction.

The city is easily worthy of the title " The Paris of Eastern Europe". I stayed a bit out of town (3 stops on the metro) and Most of the action is in and around Wenceslas Square (Mustek Metro Station). Taxis are fine although the price can vary a lot (look for non white old taxis for a better prices) however there is really no need. The public transport system of busses, trams and the metro has everything covered from 04:45 right through to 2 am. A 24 HR ticket costs CZK 110 ( €4. 40) with metro stops only a short walk from most places. You can even use it for to / from the airport (Buy a ticket from a yellow machine in the arrivals hall and take the 119 bus as far as Nadrazi Veleslavin "A" line Metro stop and then onward on the metro).

When out and about, I have no doubt the fine weather helped but the women here are beautiful with many sporting not much more than a little black dress, very classy. Just what you need to put you in the mood.

I too prefer the clubs. You can see all the girls, and choose your favourite.

SHOWPARK DAVINCI. Open 6 pm to 6 am (just beside IP Pavlova Metro C) Sister club of showpark market and the 24 HR admission covers both places. Prices for beer and girls the same as Market. Its like a hotel with a bar in the lobby where the girls wait. Nice to chat a girl up a bit before retiring to the room.

DARLING CABARET- Open 6 pm to 6 am (off Wenceslas Square, Muzeum Metro see, plenty of hawkers giving out directions) The entrance CZK 350 ( €14) and cost of beer CZK 350 ( €14)(must buy one) was high and plenty of beauty on display but at CZK 4000 ( €160) a pop in the room that was not for me. I got the feeling that the girls here over promised and under delivered. Better service for half the price elsewhere. The show was average. It was fun to chat to the girls, but why is it that the better looking the girl the less chatty they are? The less attractive older ones would flirt and grope for at least 10 minutes but the beautiful ones would just ask do you want a private dance and then leave if you didn't or weren't sure.

Free snacks and soft drinks. Put your stuff in a locker and head around the club in your white towelling robe. Girls were mostly topless. CZK 1600 ( €64) for half an hour in their room. Place was very busy, I could see easily 50 guys and 30 girls but perhaps there were more. Might be fun but too pricey for me.
