I'm not saying don't come here - this place is great! If you want to come somewhere to ball your brains out with a bunch of really beautiful, unconservative, sexy ladies, this is the place. From my experience, teaching in Prague is a scam to get foreigners to spend their savings while living here and boosting the local economy. Teaching jobs in Prague are a joke - at best you earn about 20 to 30 thousand krowns a month, working 50 or 60 hours a week, and this is after you have your TEFL. Language schools are going out of business right and left in Prague at the moment, as czechs businesses have been cutting their english classes, as well as other "expenses". You can come here and live and teach while trying to find your "dream girl", but be sure to expect that you'll be living off your savings to stay here, as most language schools try to pay as little as possible. Rent, food, and visa fees will eat through your meager teaching salary faster than you can usually earn.

Speaking about the lovely ladies here, there are many kind, educated, beautiful and interesting women here. However, I'd be a little wary. The ladies here have their pick of a bunch of giant superman sized meatheads. If some gorgeous girl hooks up with an expat, it's because she's banking on the fact that he can get her out of this place, sooner rather than later. No, I have to confess, I am not speaking from personal experience.
