Yes, it was quite popular in the nineties maybe a little bit less today but it still exists in Prague as well as in smaller towns around Czech Republic.

Usually hospoda (beer pubs) who offer this "entertainement" hire a topless waitress once (or twice) a week for the evening (usually from 8:00 pm) or once in a while (beeing one of the special parties organised by the pub).

These beer pubs are usually not located right in the city center of Prague but some can be located in districts close to the center (Vinohrady, Zizkov, Vrsovice, Karlin, Smichov...) others can be located far away (Haje, Petrovice, Uhrineves...).

These beer pubs usually close at 11.00 pm. People mostly drink beer and shots (vodka, Becherovka, Fernet...).

Most of these pubs are not very luxury and filled with locals (tourists stay in city center and go to U Zlateho Stromu disco or to cabarets to see strip shows).

Just been in Prague. First of all I'd like to thanks everyone in this forum: thanks to all your reports, narrations, advices and everything else: I managed to get a lot of nice and helping infos about the Prague scene.

Now, my first experience (only for a few few days) in Prague has been different from what I initially planned, since I didn't manage to do all things I decided I would have done before leaving for Prague. However I have tried different solutions, to see how things works there.
