You must be well prepared with info, as Firebird has suggested.

In my experience it is worth grouping the privats by area (Prague 2 or 3 are a good start). Escort.cz has a good map function. Then start phoning. Some have English, some German, some will hang up, so you must have plenty of fallbacks.

Priority is to get the right address: street, house number, flat no. If possible get the bell name as well, and which floor. You'll usually have to ring again when you are outside.

It's a great alternative to FKKs, which I know you are familiar with. But it's harder. It's more of a hunt. Quality? That's your risk, the risk of the hunt. Anything from awful to fantastic in service and looks. But the average in looks is lower, and the rate of failure is higher. And you will find it harder to get services you take for granted in Germany, like BBBJ. You'll find them, at a price, but not everywhere.

I see my comments have crossed with Firebird's second post. But he is right on all scores. AAA taxis or City taxis will likely not cheat, avoid the rest. If you do the grouping I suggest, you can go there by metro and walk it all. It's easy with a map. The problem is getting into the privat itself usually.

Breadman, note the following comments concerning "privates" shown below in no particular order:

Using www.escort.cz you can get some information about the "general" location, hours of operation and telephone number.

You will have to call up to get the exact address, which bell to ring, etc. Some privates do speak english.

The girls pictured on the site may not be working and/or may no longer be with the private.

If you inquire about a certain girl and get to the location, that girl may be with a customer and you may have to wait or select another one.

Unfortunately I cannot give you any "figures" concerning "hit and miss" - I only visited Beboss and was lucky to find a "gem".

Also if you do not speak the language and therefore may not be comfortable using the public transport to get around (by the way this is the cheapest way to get around Prague) you will have to use the Taxi. READ the reports and be careful as the taxis will rip you off.

Breadman - that's is a "loaded" question. Much of it is hit and miss.

RE: CLUBS - one good thing about clubs is that you get to check out what you are getting and make your selections.

RE: ESCORTS - there are many escort services, some high priced like Prague Bunnies. Many reports show that girls that showed up did provide good service and some had a "bait and switch" practice. Once thing you must remember is that the photos on escort sites are "glammed" up and the girl that shows up may not look exactly like the pictures. Little bit older - little but heavier, etc.

RE: PRIVATES - some can be quite good. During a recent trip to Prague, I use a girl from Beboss on three nights - she was excellent - very friendly and caring - really provided a GFE feeling. Unfortunately she is no there as she went "home".

Do some research on www.escort.cz and see what you and your "buddy" like.

Stay away from places like Darling and Atlas where the girls are over priced - these are only good as "eye candy"

An excellent choice is Sweet Paradise - many reports in the forum and I have used their "talent" many times.

This does not really answer your question directly, but might be an alternative.

I learnt my (small amount of) Czech in Prague. Some language schools there do a summer course where you attend for three hours in the morning and are unleashed on the unsuspecting Czechs in the afternoon and evening.

From a mongering point of view I was able to start off at higher end places like K5 and then go cheaper to Dessert, then down to places that had barely any english over a four week period. It was still a struggle, but I was able to manage it. Of course once there, the negotiations were pretty easy.

I would recommend at least three weeks morning study.
