I'm not sure how you define "lowest level of prostitution", but I personally would define that as the prostitution you see in the streets and squares in the middle of the night, with services often offered by trashy, questionable characters. I seriously doubt that that is what is commonly discussed in these forums.

My impression of the Prague section of ISG is that it has a disproportionate number of posts regarding escorts (as in, "a lot" considering that escorts are not what I would consider mainstream or representative of the local mongering scene.

There are many stories about these money charging ATMs and money changers in Prague. There is one near Jindriskka tram stop which used to give good rates for money exchange. It used to have a queue most of the times.

I hardly ever use money changers when traveling nowadays. In some countries like in the UK you could get zero fee for foreign transaction debit card. Not all card though, you will have to check what it is the to be applied to your card for foreign transaction. If you have this card this will be the best way of getting foreign currency from ATM. You will get either Visa or Mastercard exchange rate without fee. Which is in many case close to mid-market exchange rate like you find in https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/.

But in Prague money changer are notoriously know to fool tourists with fee and commission it is not just in "Jindriskka tram which is in the city centre, it is almost everywhere close to tourist spot actually. The one notoriously known is "Cheque point" money changer. For that reason, you are probably be better off using your debit card even with fee.

Well if the ATM is in a public space such as the main train station, Airport, the public transport hub, it is highly unlikely the "ATM is fake". I could not imagine how come a person put a fake ATM in the public space where the police, transport officials patrolling there have a trained eye to spot something unusual. But this is nothing to suggest they might not get tempered temporarily while you are using it. But my point here is that the ATM might get tempered by criminals but the ATM itself is genuine (not fake).

But what is likely happen if you are not careful is that you might get ripped off with exchange rates and various fees, etc. From certain ATMs. Unless you have tested it, avoid any ATM labelled with "EURONET". Stick with the bank ATMs. CSOB, Raffeissen, and the other many banks have ATMs at their branches. Avoid Euromoney ATMs, and the ATMs at nightclubs. They charge high fees and give poor exchange rates.

The money exchanges at tourist hotspots are suspicious at best. Search for "Honest Guide Prague" on youtube. He's made it his mission to expose these scammers.

Well the only way that I know of is to look at the exchange rate they offer and before you do anything check it online yourself, also before you exchange money ask how much it gives you, today 1€ is equal to 26,25 Czech koruna. Just do the math, if it dips far below that it's a scam.
