On my way to Prague I passed thru Dubi and Teplice and did a little windowshopping..
There were lots of clubs with many pretty girls in the windows but not many streetwalkers in the afternoon.

Any mongers know of any providers in Liberec, privates or establishments? I like Liberec, and this is the first time I even thought about p4p in Liberec.

As I wrote before. In siesta lots of UKR girls. Some for all they are still there but have now to say the service is a bit hit and mis. I took a girl for the night and she asked for a lot. so know how to put your foot down. anyway it brke the mood for me so i have been looking for so new places. Some nice girls in ARSA took a slovok prices similar to siesta but 80 for the hour or i think 300 for the night. I went a couple clubs and just taked price to see. Found a girl in love story for 200 the night and also in a club closer to teplice.
Lots of street girls coming back (this was before the flood i dont know how it is now or if there even was a flood there. ) with htem it is all about control and your skills to get the price you want. carfull when you talk to them the police will sometimes come by to harass you.
anyway that is my update hope someone else will join in here I would liek to build this forum up but cant be motivated alone

it's better to rent the car in the cz republic, plus it is cheaper. look at some of my previous reports for some links.

well i'm no guru on the matter, i'm just restating what the hire car outlets have suggested. i hired a vw polo in warsaw once and the driving lights had been stolen.
i believe its more a condition of the insurance premiums in de, at etc...i know some german guys who have audi's company cars etc actually have to hire cars like opel's etc to conduct cross border business in pl cz etc...although that was a few years ago.
i think the value of the car is irrelevant. the volvo xc 90 they gave me was a €50 000 car and that wasnt a problem driving cross border.
the jag was probably €35 000. whereas, u cant drive a vw lupo across the border and its worth probably €10 000...
anyway - its more as some basic knowledge so u can be prepared and understand the hirecar outlets needs.

as of last night situation is the same nothing really new. My best club isnot siesta all UKR women. somthing for everyone prices from 40 75 300 where quoted. for the LT i think maybe some negotionation is possiable but i didnot try. staz away from adelas that place was scary. one girl was clearly carring a child. the bar had the nerve toask why i did not want totake one of his girls. check eden it was lat only ě girls one CY ok looking one i dont know must have been 40ˇplus. love story had alot of girls. nothing special though miami was still closed as were bihac and euro star. some girls at arsa but i did not check a lot of girls at the club next to Kiss some nice lookersin Kiss. saw a SW at the station near the roundabout i think mazbe she was frozed dead. needless to say i did not stop.
maybe i will write more later

the point is not weather your car will be stolen. i have been many times and never had a problem.
the point is that if you rent a car you may not be able to drive it accross the border.
i would guess tht the car rental companys use 2 factors for this one being actual statictics and the second being the price of the car. so even if there has never been a jag stolen in teplice the price alone may exclude you from renting it in germany and driveing it to cz
i would guess a even more likly cause is the rental companys insurance premiums. if they say that they only send cheap cars or low risk cars then the insurance is maybe cheaper.
and for the speeding thing. i was often in the area and i was only stoped once and i was doing 70 in a 30. i paid 35 euros cash bribe fine call it what you will. in germany i woul dhave paid more and lost my licence for a month at least maybe even 6 months. so i was not alone in being stoped. but i would say that everyone was speeding. i do not really think it is wrong and for me it is fine i was happy to get away with no hassel. so avoid breaking the law and then you wont have to deal with the police. and if you do break the law and have to deal with the police is it not better to be able to deal. ;>
anyway lets get back the all the hoes in teplice and for the car situation if you are really concerned fly to prague and then rent te car there i guess you can drive it in the cz.

I think you're overplaying the risk here.
You no greater risk of car theft in Prague than you do in other major European cities - in fact there are "western" countries that are a far bigger risk.
If anything I reckon your car is in more danger in Leipzig than it is in Liberec.

If you wish to drive into CZ, SK, PL, HU etc, inform the hire car company when you make the reservation. If you make the reservation over the phone specifically inform them of your business plan to go east. Over the web, you are able to put those requests in the comments.
Importantly when you pick up the car ensure its not german.
It used to be tougher as only Europcar and Hertz would permit you to drive there under their insurance policies. Since the EU accesion of the suggested countries all providers allow you to drive there - including AVIS, Sixt, Budget, etc.
Indeed all makes of German cars are banned from cross border travel from hire car firms.
Basically, German car parts are popular in Central Europe - so the suggestion is when you park the car either the whole car, or parts from the car, will be missing.
I've driven across the border many times. A couple of times I was upgraded to Jaguar's, Volvo SUV's, etc - I originally asked the hire car rep if this was permissable to drive such fancy cars thru east europe - the Austrian guy chuckled - "well its funny you know, they will all look at the Jaguar, smile and think its a wonderful car, smile even more and be happy that they saw such a rare beautiful vehicle - and then walk away - they have no need for a jaguar or parts from a car with with such status - as they are rare in the region.
Whereas a german car, they will take the mirrors, wheels, etc for their own cars or sell them down the market.
Typically the hire car companies will supply you with a Ford, GM, Renault, etc as a charriot to the east.
I hope this clarifies matters.

it is true that driving a german registered car runs you a greater risk of being stopped by the police for offences such as speeding - this is because the number plate is like a big neon sign advertising your greater ability to pay a fine.

Most rental companies did not allow any cars into Czech few yeas back before it joined EU. Now at least most rental cars are allowed except for Mercedes, Audi, BMW, trucks, and convertables. Check your rental agreement, it is always written down.
Few years back I was asked by the border guard did I have permission to drive the rental car to Czech, I lied and told him I did because I paid extra insurance for it. He let me go.
I'm surprised border guards still exsist since Czech is part of EU now.
