I like to think as a la cart. You pay for what you want. If you want a GFE experience, you pay for the parts that make that. If you want a blow and go, same thing. In the US, you pay a flat rate for the time with no real idea of what you are getting if the provider is not up-front. This fixes that.

Not many chat about this here and I am generally curious. I am from the US and I am in the swinging community. Cash question: Coming over from Hawaii it seems like it will be challenging to convert dollars to Denmark's currency. Are there a lot of places that exchange dollars for Krone? I am only there for four days, then another few days in Sweden and Finland so I really don't want to convert too much dollars. I am also from the states. I am in DK frequently so leaving Denmark with DKK in my pocket is not a big deal since I know I will be back.

Two ways I have dealt with the currency:

- Make sure your bank knows you will be traveling so they indicate that on your account. Makes for fewer hassles if they see activity from DK show up. My ATM has worked in every bank, can withdraw DKK and the exchange rate is handled by your home bank. There will be fees tacked on by both banks and depending on your account details, these can be pricey. Do not use the non-bank ATMs as the fees are much higher.

- Convert cash. Central station has multiple locations where this can be done. They will charge you 40-50 DKK to do the conversion but then you will then receive the posted exchange rate.

Due to my account at my bank (who reverses several of the fees) it is a bit cheaper for me to use the ATM method.

When exchanging cash, I believe anything under $600 will be allowed.

Just make sure your card is ok for Scandinavian ATMs and you are ready for anything.

You can of course exchange US $ to Danish Crowns, but that is more cumbersome and needs some planning as exchange office are sparse and not open 24/7.
