OK, I am a resident of Helsinki for many years and I need to say this.

Regarding the Sexwork website, please be advised that it is important to check the thread called "list of active real girls" (usually found at the bottom of the Finnish chat board, so at the Sexwork website, go to Foruumit, then Suomi. At the bottom of the forum sections is a special section called "Photo verifications by Jurristi". It is in English, I assume because Jurristi wants the girls to see it also. Why important? Because my last 2 girls have been fakes and I should have checked the thread. If you want to stay downtown yourself and have a discreet place there are 3 options if you want to be really discreet and not experience walk of shame - (1) Hotel Torni, where you can enter elevators via the basement floor bar instead of reception, (2) rent an apartment via easyhomes. Fi also available on booking.com or (3) get a "Sky" room at the more expensive Klaus K hotel. The "Sky" rooms have a separate private entrance.
