Planning on Helsinki in May, was going to stay ay Hotel Marski can anyone tell me if its close to Mikado and other top spots. Is there any action in the Hotel itself and will they let you take Ladies back to room. How much is overnight stay ? will give you all my field report when I return and would welcome any comments.

Alcatraz is still the same, even after 6 month, several girls are the same. Mikado is as good as ever, but the ladies are really crazy (500 € for 1 night???)

Finally I took a nice, cute girl to my room, paid 200 € for the night, wich was okay, since we mad a lot of love ;-)

2nd night I took another cutie to my room, unfortenatly she just laid on the bed , paid 150 € for 2 hrs...

still enjoyed the city very much

Folks, went to Helsinki Sunday January 19th.

Started my visit around 11pm at Mermaid. Very few customers there (about 7). Few ladies present (about 10) of lousy quality (3 - 6). Apparently place has changed owner and the level of service has not improved. Also the quality of strip acts has gone down dramatically. So left after less than half hour to Alcatraz.

Situation at Alcatraz was even more dramatic. About 3 ladies present for about 25 men. Quality of ladies was good (5 - 8), quality of strip act was excellent. Since I did not come for strip act, left again after half an hour to the place of last hope, Mikado.

Getting into Mikado was a relief. About 30 ladies present of excellent quality. Talked to a few and met a nice lady from Estonia. We agreed on €200 for all night. we had a wonderfull time together, real GFE with all whistles and bells... Lady left next day around 11am, so excellent price/quality ratio.

Overall, good experience, although situation at Mermaid and Alcatraz was disappointing, I guess due to being sunday.

I am a regular visitor to Helsinki and my last trip was just before the Christmas. I visited Mikado on a Sunday night and it was just like it has always been, namely quite busy considering it was otherwise a very quiet night. The prices have probably gone up a bit because the Finnish police apparently has more actively cracked down Russian and Estonian prostitutes operating in Finland. It seems however, that this has affected mostly internet- based operations (www.sihteeriopisto.net and www.seuralaispalvelu.net). Expect to pay 150 Euros for a short time service.

Alcatraz is going on as in the past. Mermaid has changed the owner, but seems to be ok.

All nighters are the exception, rather than the rule. Mostly to be had only from the Russian girls who can be found hanging around Mikado and Alcatraz. I believe you could try the net site www.seuralaispalvelu.net - requires a relatively good command of Finnish to understand, though, but the phone numbers are understandable enough.

Very little street activity, especially since the Helsinki City code forbade it some time ago. No street activity at all anywhere outside Helsinki. IMHO, forget it. I have shared the same experience as dusty...since there are so many girls available it is quite hard to push the price over 150 €, regardless of it being an hour, two or the whole night. The hour price may be negotiated a bit down in the end of the night though.
But due to the setting at Mikado, you might find that a girl may reject you regardless of your offering, if she doesn't like you. So it is a two way thing.

In my experience I never paid more than €150 and usually it was for the night, only once not. I think often it depends upon chemistry and greed. My Estonian friend almost always stayed all night with clients. After a couple of rounds when both are satisfied its time for a sleep, a quickie and some breakfast in the morning.

Some of the hard nuts will try to double-dip, going in early, shag a guy and go back before the place closes. Second guy might get the night. Some of the girls have homes and husbands to go home to and so prefer their own pillow. The visitors prefer a nice hotel to hostel or shared apartment.

I have not induged in Helsinki for a long time now though so my experience is becoming outdated.

I am not advertising her services, she is just looking at coming over for a day or two here and there. She prefers the environment of Mikado as it's easy to blow anyone off that she does not like.
When she used to work there for a while a year or so ago she NEVER went home without having had a client though.

it looks like prices are much the same as Liondale suggested, she used to get around $200 with tips and taxi.
