Although I am in Finland a lot, I do not go to Turku very often. However, last week I was there...

I went to the club that is next door to the Sokos Hamburger Hotel. Sorry I can't remember the name, but it just right next door and well known. I guess the university had just started back because on Wednesday night it was packed and I was honestly surprised at the number of young ladies. In Turku, for a bit more mature freebie, you might try Galax on Aurakatu near the market square - ballroom dancing skills are a big plus there. Alternatively, the pub Old Bank (Aurakatu 3) might be what you're looking for. If you're fairly young and good-looking, Giggling Marlin on Humalistonkatu is also worth a visit but the crowd that goes there is somewhat younger than the bracket you mentioned.
