I lived there and worked there and the whole routine of "Metro-boulot-dodo" is a real drag.

Nice city to visit but daily life is not recommended. It seems that everyone walks around with a black cloud hanging over their heads.

Actually, starting at Place de Pigalle (by the Moulin Rouge) and moving westward, all of the ripoff crap is on Blvd De Clichy. Rue Pigalle is a dead street compared to de Clichy.
