Having returned from the trip I can now answer my own question and largely confirm what eFrog said. Concorde Lafayette has slowed down considerably but not completely.

There was positively no action at the bar at the top, however there were (at a weeknight, at about 11 pm) three or possibly four girls at the lobby.
