Hey guys, I'm a first time poster to the Georgia board, but pretty active on the Russian board. Will be staying (briefly) in the Courtyard next week. I suppose this is the same as the Marriott? I know they're the same chain, so I suspect as much.

Anyway, I get my share of action in Moscow/Piter/Kiev/Minsk, but there's a rumor that Georgian pussy tastes like khatchapuri, and I just need to verify it. Read thru all the reports (not that it took much time), and it doesn't look too promising.

As such, any tips would be appreciated!

NO Action in the Hotel, I stay in the Sheraton, and NO action in any Clubs. Absolutely Shitty. Can't believe whats going on there.

Most people are very nice but as the guy who briefed us from the embassy said "one minute you can be walking down the street with a smile on your face. Next thing your dead with your throat slit". Always go in pairs. Actually Tbilisi by day is pretty OK, Kutaisi at ANY time is dangerous for a tourist. Our embassy supplied bodyguards it was that bad. Manhole covers stolen for metal, no street lighting, roads and buildings falling apart, Hospitals so bad that they can't even afford electricity. How do I know this? Because I paid $50 outa my own pocket to buy gas for their generator once. (purely a professional/business visit)'

Privet, that simply isn't true. Things have changed considerably over the last couple of years and it's nowhere near as dangerous as it used to be. Of course, caution should be exercised at night, just like any other capital city.

As regards your comments about Georgia and P4P in general while I agree it's no paradise opportunities do exist and to suggest that there is a just one sauna illustrates that you don't actually know Tbilisi at all.

Also, hitting on girls in the Marriott is pointless, they probably get about 50 guys a day trying to fuck them. Get out of your hotel and go and have a look round, Tbilisi has something to offer.

I purchased a can of coke last year in a Kutaisi store. Looked at the bottom. It was dated 1999 expiry. And that wasn't unusual. The country is falling apart.

Very religious and its observed. Less than 5% Ethnic Russian (and these are the only girls I have ever laid in GE).

Not worth a mongering trip. And they don't have Porn in the Marriot on Cable if I recall (not that I bother).

I could tell you more. But the bottom line is don't even bother. Just stay in the Marriots (where most people stay.) and try and chat up La La (her real name! ) and the other staff.
