Salon Prestige tried to open in some restricted fashion yesterday Monday but seems immediately to have run into legal problems. Website says they are again closed pending "clarifications". Even if some places push this, clearly the authorities are watching and both establishments and mongers would face hefty fines if busted. Nein Danke.

Yes, that is true. Reading about the good fortunes of our good neighbors will help us make good decisions in Berlin.

Check out the article linked at the end of this post. The article says something like a working girl and 13 of her clients infected each other In France. Then the clients went home and infected their families or flatmates. So if someone is really going to open a massage parlor in Berlin, how would they do it? The idea of opening seems unrealistic According to the article. The article even talks about monetary fines.

Posts: 105Bored, I looked at some bordello websites yesterday. And really to my shock, this popped up at Prestige: https://www.salon-prestige-berlin.de/kopie-von-preise You can easily translate this if you cannot read DE.
They somehow are planning on a restricted limited opening 25 May. No idea what it really means, and how they can actually do it, as all the regulations are still very much in force. I certainly will not partake as any way that might legally work will be way too restrictive, and any other way is way too risky both health and legal wise.
But if any locals have some insight into this, I am curious.

Piefke, thanks for the info (and the rest), however depressing. As you say, the risks to health and legal fees still quite high. This is kind of a critical moment here, where all the numbers are trending down as they should, but when people will stop taking precautions. Been a big change since restaurants and cafes are open since last weekend, even if in a limited fashion. I was curious and called around and have a feeling massage places are a little flexible, but again just not worth it. Even with regular customers, it is just still way too risky. Berlin has to walk a fine line between keeping the virus under control, keeping the culture tourist sector somewhat active, and keeping its free-wheeling spirit alive. I cannot help think that as sex is really such a big part of life here, some of the increasingly large demonstrations against restrictions and fueled by such gaga conspiracy theories would be less if people were drinking and having a lot more sex. Who knows.

Posts: 994German Mask Supplies? Chinese defect mask returned Taiwanese Mask.
Taiwan announced a ban on the export of surgical masks in January as the novel virus broke out in the country, and the ban was later extended through the end of June. An ID-based mask rationing system was implemented in February to ensure fair distribution and prevent price gouging.
As Taiwan ramps up its production of surgical masks, the rationing system will be relaxed, but IDs are still required to purchase masks, said Chen. He added that restrictions on the acquisition and export of the item may be partially removed in the event of a mask glut — a decision to be made by the Ministry of Finance.
New rules are expected to be introduced in the coming weeks. Currently, Taiwanese citizens are allowed to purchase nine surgical masks every two weeks and permitted to ship 30 masks every two months to their relatives overseas.
Taiwan has boosted its mask manufacturing capacity to up to 19 million units a day. Demand for Taiwan-made masks has soared globally as Chinese masks have failed to meet standards, unleashing a wave of complaints.

Posts: 247Thank you, you fine gentle man. The pleasure is mine.
How about we all put an end to the jabs, hits below the belt, and know it all comments.
Could we focus on solving the problem and making sure everyone is happy?
How about starting a new thread where only informative valuable posts are allowed?
Besides new information, people could link to other informative posts in other threads, and also remind members that posts with more general conversation topics belong in another thread.
If you can improve this idea, you Could also make some suggestions right here right now.
Actually, Just had a look around, this has already been done. Here is the official link to the Germany links to reports of distinction: http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?2067-Links-to-Reports-of-Distinction
