If people intention to go Berlin just to go to nightclub you are actually wasting your time and money. You could find night club in similar nature anywhere else in other countries. Night club in Berlin is not cheap either. Berlin has a lot to offer which is hardly exist anywhere else and visitor should take advantage of this. People go to Berlin to go to flat rates, GB Parties, Swinger Parties or bargain small brothels like Aston, Stella. You could easily reach any of these places by public transport from Alexandre Platz.

I beg to differ. People go to Berlin to party. Berghain is internationally known for example. Plenty of good clubs in Berlin, but not like Ibiza clubs.

Alexanderplatz is convenient for transportation, but very boring area.

Each place different, but most sites have english pages which clearly state who gets what, if that is house policy. Probably some tax and legal reason for this especially since big (and silly) Artemis raid, and with DE prostitution laws in flux now.

I think you have missed the point. LostPier want to combine fun and sightseeing. The good thing to be in Alexandre Plats is the public transportation system where you get both you-Bahn and S-Bahn is meeting together working as a hub.

Politely disagree. Ninja live in Berlin so no need for Trip Advisors and has opinion Alex Platz is vast commercial shopping wasteland, Hackescher Markt is mostly tourist trap. Transport system good everywhere. Many hubs throughout the city. Many better neighborhoods (see last post) to stay in and experience real Berlin, with nice cafes, bars, live music pubs etc. Even with ferien Wohnungs (vacation apartments) or AB&be which can be 40-50 Eur for night. And west has all better bordellos and Artemis so less running around (all can be easily done on bicycle if weather ok, 8 places maybe 15 min apart). Clubs in east easily reached from anywhere. But at moment lots of construction on key central S Bahn between AlexPlatz and west, have to take busses, so another reason to stay in west part.

Sorry disagree. For mongering, west is best. For night life Prenzlauerberg or Friedrichshain. Alexplatz is dead zone, like Potsdammer. No comfortable cafes or restaurants to hang out in.

Easy to get anywhere in Berlin including to Airport, Haupt Bahnhof, Brandeburger Tor. There are a lot of shopping centers around there. Also very close Hackescher Markt where you could have a nice dinner, a lot of pubs.

Ask anyone in Trip Advisor they will tell you the best place to stay is in Alexander Platz. But everyone has their own preference.

I stayed near the Alexanderplatz. It's convenient for public transport and has two supermarkets and a shopping center nearby as well. There is an ibis budget hotel which would be handy if you are planning getting outcalls.

Its quite a way out of town (About half an hour on the S-Bahn) but I arrived and opted for Tiffy. She looks a little different from the photos, darker and a bit bigger, but she was very warm and friendly, and good at what she did. The sex was amazing.
