I'm off to Berlin next week and have been researching the web for independent ladies to visit. I do agree that Berlin is the best city in Germany overall. It's my fave city in the world I think -- although Munich is also a gem. But people in Munich are very well dressed and slightly snobbish (I used to live there!) whereas in Berlin they are not.
