I guess if you use direct contact to escorts then any time within a few days is okay but often girls don't trust appointments unless they know you're already there. In the case of agencies this is especially true and they will only take same day appointments.

Never had issues with any hotel. Some hotels need card to operate lifts so you'll have to meet the girl in the lobby.
