Since my favorite Polish joint (Venus Club) appears to have shut down, I wanted to find a place that had European girls. Maison d'Envie (Danziger Str. 61: U-Eberswalder Str.) fit the bill, since the girls are mainly Polish and the place is located conveniently in Mitte.

Yesterday I've visited the place for the first time. There are so many positive reflections from all sides I hardly know where to begin.

First, and the most important: On their web page they have real pictures of girls and real working hours. So even if you have never been there before, you will for sure know who to expect once you are there. I was greeted at the door by Jenny, who took me in. I think that the distinction goes back to the rationalization behind the FKK concept. The idea came to find a loophole in the anti- prostitution laws and they landed on the idea that there are many public sauna places in Germany, which while they are not per se "naturist clubs" are an example of the popular and extremely legal "Fkk" experience (FKK means naturist culture in German). .

Probably right. These days, such windowdressing is no longer necessary. As long as the local government does not object, a proprietor can now legally hire talent and offer sexual services in the open, without the need for euphemisms. He or she just needs to make sure that all the other rules are being observed, taxes are paid, no illegal foreigners are hired, yadda, yadda .... But remember, the legal foundations for a backlash still exist.
