I am traveling to Dusseldorf soon and am not familar with the city. I will be staying downtown and will not have a car. I want to know if the best FKK club near downtown is Tropicana? Also, can I get to LDV by train or taxi? Any other suggestions while there?

Was in Dusseldorf last night and decided to check out the Tropicana. It was, frankly, a waste of time IMHO. I saw about 9 girls on a Saturday night, but the majority of them were lazy, smoking and just sitting around. Not very friendly at all.

I went to a room with a girl who was half Lithuanian and half Russian. The prices were 20 minutes for 69, 40 mintues for 99 and 1 hour for 129 Euros. I chose the 40 minutes and was disappointed. Most of the time she just laid there on her stomach wanting me to rub her back. The rest of the time she gave a weak, 45 second bbbj then wanted to do it. By that time I had lost interest completely.

Fair amount of pleasant small talk, but on a GFE scale, this was a negative number! I won't go back there.

G-Man, as no-one has responded. I visit Dusseldorf regularly and I can confirm that there is a Japanese community in Duseeldorf; a couple of Japanese hotels and some good restaurants (I am a lover of all things Japanese). However I do not know about WGs or social areas of their community.

When I visit Dusseldorf I am inclined to go to a Party-treff or FKK (eg like Tropicana). But if there is a 'Japanese' scene then I would be interested.

    Hi fellow mongers,

I have been a regular punter on the Singapore and Shanghai boards but I am heading to D-Dorf this fall.

I love Asian babes and I hear there is a good population of Japanese professionals and tourists always around D-Dorf. Is it true?

Where can I find some freebie Japanese action in D-Dorf, like bored female office workers, tourists, etc passing through? I love Japanese girls. They keep their snatch clean and in bed they are sweet like virgins.

I am Asian but speak fluent German. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

    AF,

In the Wildenrath section in the Germany FKK section there is tonnes of info. Nothing has changed since that info was posted. Try doing some research before you post a question.

    Hi Peter,

Do you (or anyone else) have experience and detailed info about Wildenrath? Price, services, attitude etc.!

    Thank you,

    The AF

    Peter,

Maybe, lol, lots of good recommendations. Yes, I mean the veal. In Fulda I tried it, but they told me in advance it would be swine. In the good old days that schnitzel used to be massive in size. The one I tried at the gasthaus was breaded and similar in taste, but very small.

I did wander into the Alstadt and was reading the window menus and went into one resteraunt advertising schnitzel for 7.50E. But once inside, I determined it was an Argentine resteraunt, so it was an opportunity to sample their beef. I had filet mignon. I wasn't that impressed.

I'm hoping for good authentic German food, not touristy stuff. The meal at RhineTrum was good and expensive, but still not what I remember. Maybe those days are in the past. Same as the American Hamburger. You never know what you're getting there. :-).

    Thanks for the recommendations.

    NB,

The beer point has been cleared up, now about the food.

German Restaurants aren' what they used to be. The fact that most Germans don't want to pay more than 12€ for a main course has meant that most restaurants have resorted to pre-packaged restaurant food. That is why you will find many restaurants with very similar menus.

If by German food you mean beerhall food then the best is either Frankenheim or Füchschen.

For more modern or differentiated food you might try Hecker in the Old Town or Rosie's off the back of the Kö or it's sister restaurant Schiff Ahoi in Oberkassel or .

also if you like Wiener Schnitzel make sure you know what you are ordering. wienerschnitzel is a Veal Cutlet covered in breading and fried, and a Schnitzel nach Wiener Art is a Pork Cutlet made in the same style as a Wiener Schnitzel. If you really want Veal then make sure you look for it.

Düsseldorf also has a large number of Italian restaurants, very interesting japanese restaurants too, around the Immermann Strasse coming from the train station.

Maybe this post belongs on the World Culinary Guide.

    Nasty Boy,

As far as German cuisine goes, I can't help much...

But here is the scoop on beer. The style of house beer or local beer varies from region to region or even village to village.

In Duesseldorf the local beer is "Altbier", literally old beer, which comes in a small cylindrical glass. It is dark and isn't my favorite either.

In Cologne the local beer is "Kölsch", which is light and also comes in a cylindrical glass and also isn't my favorite.

You are refering to the light colored beers called "Pilsener" from their Czech origins. They are available in various forms all throughout Germany and are often local brands.

    To get one, order:

"ein Pilsener" (or simply "ein Pils") or "ein helles Bier" or order by brand name, looking at the menu. A few good ones you should find in that area are:

Warsteiner, Bitburger, Veltins, Krombacher etc. My favorite is "Jever", but it is too bitter for most people.

Many Germans don't consider "Kölsch" or "Altbier" to be "real" beers. Of course they are and the locals swear by them, but that is "local patriotism" for you. Here is a joke on that subject.

3 Germans enter a bar in Dortmund. The first one, from Duesseldorf, says "ein Alt bitte". The bartender looks at him strangely and gives him an Altbier. The second one, from Cologne, says "ein Kölsch bitte". The bartender looks at him strangely and gives him a Kölsch. The third one, from Dortmund, looks at his friends beers and says to the bartender "eine Coca-Cola bitte".

His friends are confused and say "Manny, why are you ordering a Coca-Cola?!!"

Manfred says "Boys, if you aren't going to be drinking beer, then neither am I! ".

    Greetings,

Please permit me two off topic questions.

This will be my last visit to D-dorf for a very long time and I would like to make the best of my dining experience. Where can I find the absolute, very best, German cuisine in town? Last visit, I was disappointed with the bratwurst as it seems to be processed meat and not the good wurst I enjoyed a long time ago. I am also very fond of weinerschnitzel and one gasthaus came close, but I think the portion was too small.

The other question is about the bier. Normally when I order I just say, ein bier bitte, and they bring a house bier. In Fulda, it was a light colored very smooth bier that I liked alot. But in D-dorf it was a dark bier and I wasn't too crazy about it. Could someone please tell me how I would order a nice light, smooth bier in D-dorf?

    Muchas gracias. :-)

Exciting afternon available for Saturday 20 March.

I have arranged to meet Saskia who gets excellent reviews - we had arranged a threesome but the other Forum member has had to pull out because of a bereavement. Would anybody else like to take his place? It's not a chance which comes along too often

It's at 13.00 in Neuss. Saskia does cum in mouth, anal, double, has piercings and gets excellent reviews on many German boards. Cost would be 250E for two hours

    PM me

    Dawkins,

Read the posts in this section, or go to the FKK section. FKK's within 50 KM of Düsseldorf are

    Dolce Vita (in Düsseldorf)
    Tropicana (Right Downtown)
    Cocoon
    Planet Happy Garden
    Wildenrath
    Babylon

In any of these FKK's you will do better than any agency or such. Go to Kaleu's FKK Home Page (google "Kaleu" and you'll find it). He lists all FKK'S listed by zip code. Look for Zip codes starting with 4 and those should be close to DDF. There he has links to most of the clubs, some have decent home pages. I like the Wildenrath page for the number of pictures.

    Hi guys,

I'll be in Dusseldorf this week, do you know some 'good' places to go?

I take a look of some internet sites about clubs, I wasn't be able to see any club details (photos, etc.).

Please help me giving me the right addresses.

    Thanks,

    Dawkins
