Coupe66. I have found the same a few weeks ago. Your experience sounds even worse and may have been affected by the Orthodox Easter. Another new element of the law having an effect is the need for girls to be registered, removing immediately any girls without the correct legal status for working (the laufhaus I suspect will not let them rent a room). In addition BBBJ has become much less available. I believe that the new law means that the proprietors of premises must ensure they take reasonable measures to ensure compliance with the legal provisions, but I do not have chapter and verse on this.

The possible effects of the new law are slowly slowly becoming apparent. The new law means that raids by the authorities act as even more incentive for proprietors to be seen to be squeaky clean than they used to be.

I wonder too whether laufhauses are not where the New Law with its registration and no sleeping on the premisses restrictions is having an impact. I visited Duisburg some 4 months ago. At noon it was 98% empty. At 2pm still 90% empty. How long are they going to keep empty premisses running before they close them down for good? Or is there money laundering involved so that turnover doesn't matter?

I didn't know that they're not allowed to sleep on the premises anymore, that sounds like it would definitely take it's toll! What else has changed apart from that and the obligatory condom use?

I just spent 4 days and nights based in Essen, checking out the Laufhausen in Duisburg, Oberhausen, Essen and Bochum. They were virtually a ghost town, what the hell has happened to all these places? Are many women still away due to the Easter holidays, or have they gone elsewhere? Maybe I have also become a bit bored with the area, or my standards have changed, but I remember 3 years ago these places were thriving with a good choice of mainly Eastern European and Latina women, whereas today they are almost dead! At the biggest laufhaus area, Duisburg, at least 70 % of rooms empty, poor choice of mainly skinny East Europeans with a bad attitude. Hardly any Latinas either. Oberhausen, maybe 80 % empty, also very poor choice, Essen, 80 % empty, really bad choice. There used to be some nice looking Latinas there, not anymore! Bochum though was the worst, maybe 90 % empty and really low quality! At the indoor part, there were only 2 girls working on Monday and Tuesday night out of about 40 rooms! So, can anyone enlighten me? Did I just go at a bad time, will things pick up soon? Or have the new regulations seriously damaged the laufhaus custom, or have they all gone elsewhere? A couple of other women I like based in private clubs in the area weren't working either. In fact, the choice in these clubs (such as Kuschelluder. De) also seems to have gone right down, with very few curvy ladies, the way I like them! I don't think I'll be going back to that area for a while, and next time, just for a night to see if anything has changed for the better.

By the way, if any working lady tells you she is Italian, this is 99 % sure to be crap. She is probably Romanian, the language is similar so its easy for them to learn Italian. Likewise if they say they are Greek or Spanish its very likely to be nonsense too. In years of mongering I have only come across 1 Spanish woman and no Italians or Greeks! Anyway, if I get a bullshit answer to a simple question such as 'Where are you from?' I would never go with them, because if they're dishonest about that, how can you trust them to provide the service they promised? Such a dumb thing to lie about, I couldn't care less where they're from, just don't lie, that's all I ask. How can I tell? Looks, behavior, years of experience, them not knowing anything about the city they say they're from, and when they start chatting to eachother in a Slavic tongue that's also a bit of a giveaway!

If you have a car then there are a lot of places around to try. I don't know anything about flat rates as I don't use them. But Acapulco is a short drive away, Great Palace is not too far, you have the red light districts of Duisberg and Oberhausen. There are also the Red Carpet Clubs around too.

German forum reports seem very disappointed, but they are often tinged with an anti BulgaRom sentiment.

It is quite hard to find, one time I failed completely, the next time I missed the turnoff which is unmarked and on a fast four lane highway with no chance to turn back. Anyone looking for it should use the Shell tankstelle as the marker: the narrow turnoff is if I remember right about 10 metres before the tankstelle and is sharp, not looking like it goes anywhere at all.

Last I read was a proposal for it to used as a refugee centre and to close down the sex workers.

I think that this is a place for good value, but I usually try to get a glimpse of the girls in action before I pick one. The girls that go for longer visits are usually the best in my opinion.

The ones that stand in front of my car just p* me off and I never take them. Visiting late this month and again in May.
