Dave visits Frankfurt Germany travelogue June 2-12,2019.

WARNING not for those that like short tweets. But an extensive travel report some might be interested in and the rest too boring to read so much.

When I get time with also do a more detailed including history stuff and some pictures and videos I took on sexworkfrankfurt.com which I secured to add to my sexwork collection of domains!

For my Toronto friends,(mostly on terb) after about 15 years of trips to Canada, this year decided to visit especially the FKK clubs of Frankfurt. However, I will be back again to Toronto if not in 2019 yet, next year.

Took 19 hours of traveling to get here from Phoenix. London Heathrow was a big mess and weather delays on the London to Frankfurt hop.

While I had done lots of research on the train system, I love Uber and decided not to hassle with trains, so I took Uber most everywhere. They have always been within 5-6 minutes away and like the app. I don't know a word of German, which is not an issue for Uber since you punch in where you are going on the app. I have had no significant problems communicating in English since it is taught in most school systems here to some extent.

About four months ago booked newer modern Premier Inn hear the Skyline Plaza and paid 498 Euros for nine nights. Neat how you plug your hotel room card into a slot to turn on the electrical. It's simple and intelligent and efficient: you can't misplace your key within the room, and neither can you forget to turn off the lights to save electricity when you head out.

Observations of the city. Huge modern buildings with construction cranes all over building new big modern structures, combined with old look like survived the war buildings.

The street system is even worse than Toronto! You zig and zag all over the place with lots of one-ways and roundabouts.

For those not familiar with German ways. Cash is king, and many places do not accept credit cards. I got some Euros from my bank before I left Phoenix. But see later my frustrating hunt for an English ATM to get more! Significant tipping seems to be kind of an insult like in Asia. Although if pay in cash, rounding up a few Euros is typical. I often eat in the hotel restaurant, which does take credit cards. With no line or option to tip at all. This tipping nonsense is mostly just in the US / Canada with underpaid service workers. I do tip Uber drivers $2, but 20% tipping is unheard of in most of the rest of the world, including Germany.

Hitting the streets.

First stop was FKK Mainhattan. About 30 minutes zigging and zagging and 13 E on Uber. I arrived shortly before 1 PM for their discounted rate. This may have been a mistake since initially only three guys in the sitting area. Although towards 2 PM more gals and guys. The procedure was as expected with a locker key, given towel and slippers. Similar to the swing club I visited in Toronto.

For anyone that has followed my decades of reviews on various boards, I am an old. 72 year old that has always enjoyed intimacy and sensuality more than just the usual. Hunt For Euros, massage parlors and FKK Oase Thursday, June 6, 2019.

I wanted to refresh my supply of Euros, and I can avoid ATM charges by using a Deutsche Bank ATM since they have a relationship with Bank of America where I put cash in a "travel" account. Likewise, in Canada, BofA has a Scotiabank relationship.

There is a vast Deutsche Bank about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, so off I go using Google map. As I get to the bridge over route 648, it gets confusing since there is a route around the bridge and one over it. At one point it tells me to turn right. But there is no right other than jump off the bridge onto the big highway below. Find the bank and the ATMs. The BofA International FAQs say the machines will have an option for English. All I see is in German. I put my card in, and nothing in English comes up. I kind of randomly punched some unknown buttons, and it at least gave me my card back! In the HUGE lobby go to an informational booth, but they were of no help other than suggesting another location which I couldn't understand their English exactly but very far away. There are no tellers, just a large bank.

I wander around the streets and find a Novotel hotel. I use to stay at this chain when in Mississauga (Toronto). So I go to the front desk with three nice gals, one of which speaks English well. I ask where their guests get Euros. They chatter in German and English speaker says really don't know. Like gee no one has asked about getting Euros which seems strange.

BTW, while it was a warm and humid 29 C the prior day, it is now 16 with a low predicted at night of 9. I am glad I packed my coat!

I am thinking not sure how much I save using Deutsche Bank may only be a few dollars so might use any VISA ATM that is part of the network, not a private ATM. But am surprised how few there are near me unless I go to the Train station. There is one in the mall but never heard of the bank.

I still have enough Euros for a few 100 E 60 minute body to body rubs. So I hail a Uber in front of the Novotel on the app for City Relax Tngesgasse 44. The friendly driver from Pakistan 11 Euro ride I was expecting massage places to be like the adult body rubs in Toronto. Big sign, nice modern place. It is kind of an old door leading to stairs with construction going on with a sign like CityRelax 2 story. So up I go the dingy narrow steps. It seems more like how the brothels North of the train station are with long flights of stairs to the cheap hookers I have no interest in. I get to the entrance and women peaks out and says no room for at least an hour! However, I get a peek at a good looking gal behind her, and from their website, some gals look my type.

OK, now what? Maybe I should have asked if I can wait, but that was not offered, and women was kind of nastily sounding? I decided to walk around the area a bit while deciding what to do. Cobblestone narrow streets with lots of shops. I had another massage listing I had noted as a good possible. Pam's Massage Alte Gasse 5. I wanted to find a major street so a Uber could find me easier than on a narrow winding cobblestone street.

I look in the sky for tall buildings and kind of head toward them. Then I come to a HUGE area with all sorts of vendors, some seating, and a major train station with the entrance going underground. The only business I recognize is McDonald's. But way in the distance see what may be a major street (at least has a traffic signal) and I kind of head towards it. Then to my amazement, I see a Deutsche Bank smaller branch. The ATMs look the same as at the large branch so didn't try them assuming would be the same no English. There was a line at an info desk it looked like so waited and got to this big German guy who fortunately spoke very good with English. He said no tellers. Have to get Euros from the machine, but it should bring up a screen to select a language. He walked me over to an ATM and sure enough, unlike the ones at the big branch after putting in BofA debit card, a big screen comes up with language options and gives me my Euros.

I find a Hyatt hotel and order up a Uber for Pam's massage -Alte Gasse 5. Gee app says its only 5 E ride so must be close and a Uber responded only a few minutes away. Friendly driver, but had to make a big loop going a long way around to get a short distance. The driver thinks I am staying at the Hyatt and points out how if I walk a back road; I could get back to the hotel in about half the time it takes to drive there!

Arrive in a confusing area on Alte Gasse but don't see "5" but driver lets me off in the approximate area. The few businesses that have address numbers don't seem to be in a logical order. I ask a Chinese woman sitting in a shop if she knows where 5 is. A massage place. She speaks perfect English and is puzzled where it might be and says the numbering is all screwed up in the area. Then I spot a delivery person, and she is likewise not sure but probably points that way. I see street signs with number ranges but don't find 5 - until. Oh, it looked like just going into a dark alley with looked like gang signs written on a wall. There is a little number 5! The door goes to a dingy stairwell going up with some of the lights burned out. Get to Pam's and friendly lady that I hope isn't also the massage gal, welcomes me. She is older and not my type, but we joke, and she is very friendly. She has four gals come into a massage room and introduce themselves so that I can choose. Only one of the 3 was attractive to me. I had been by the Festhalle a few times when returning to the hotel, and it seems enormous. I called Oase asking where at Festhalle the van would be. She said it has a big main entrance. I decide to go, and the rain hood keeps the rain from blowing into my face. I know the shortcut is via Skyline Plaza, so I leave in lots of time and have a Pizza on the way.

It is a relatively long walk, and the first Festhalle sign I see is a massive kind of round building with a huge sign that says something, not Festhalle Messe. About a block further another Festhalle sign pointing to an area that is fenced off. An older building with the sign seemingly aimed to it from what I found on their website the picture is of the older building -that I cannot get to. Ask a passing guy who says it is closed and was also confused how to get into it to meet a pickup there. Ask two Chinese women walking by, and one has excellent English and says go around the outside fence and go to the right will take you in. But this gets me to the big circular building that says something else on it and leads me just to a dead end with the fencing around what I think is Festhalle. Then I go back to the front of the circular building and see the sign pointing kind of towards it saying Festhalle. But that is not what the huge sign across the building says. Looks like some Museum which is closed. Walking further, I find what looks like the ticket office to Festhalle. In the street in front, there were bus stops, etc. I had no idea if this was the right place or not but turned out it was as the Oase Van pulled up with 5 Chinese guys and I had the last seat. However, they were returning and got off at the train station stop.

Three older German guys got on at the train station and with two other stops finally got out of the zigzagging streets and onto a highway zipping us to Friedrichsdort. Its a neat little town with narrow streets before going into open fields leading to FKK Oase with all the Roman statues. 70 E entry fee and like FKK Mainhattan, the keys for clothes and this time included a robe with the towels.

As you enter the main area, it was like sharks going after men like prey. My gosh everyone grabbing at you trying to seduce you into talking and going with them. It was a bit overwhelming with so many almost naked women going after you. I was looking for specific body types (smaller natural breasts and slim). Lots of attractive women but VERY aggressive. The only partial refuge was the eating area. But make eye contact with any gal, and they would dash over to you! The women far outnumbered the men! After the first two, I wised up that I didn't have to go to the locker room after each gal but stashed three 50 Euro bills in the little pocket on the robe. My conclusion was an interesting experience but not really my thing vs. The more fulfilling experiences I have had on my trips to Toronto.

I left about 11:30 PM intending to catch the 11:45 shuttle for $5 back to either the Festhalle stop or the huge train station. Both are kind of walking distance from the hotel, but my legs are tired from all the walking I have done and am not sure how safe it is around midnight to be walking especially from the train station. So I decided I would take an Uber (probably 5 Euro) the short distance to the hotel. When I came out to the parking lot of Osae, the van was not there yet, but lots of cabs were flashing lights at you trying to pick you up. Then as I was walking up the drive to where I think I would meet the van a cab pulled up, and the driver said he would take me to my hotel for 15 E vs. The standard cab fare of 50, and Uber would have been about 37? He spoke perfect English and said he knew exactly where my hotel was. That was a good deal since I had decided not to walk from the shuttle stop but would have taken a Uber and his $15 direct to the hotel was a great deal. He must have been desperate but had a friendly chat as we zoomed back to my hotel!

Plans for rest of trip.

I'm done with FKKing but want to do some more tourist things although we may have rain coming the next few days. I also want to do the big airport tour on Sat or Sunday depending on the weather. Also, rain or shine can Uber to some more erotic massage places I have researched quite a few. I had thought of some of the zillions of escort / companions to the hotel for typically 160 E an hour. However, you can not get up to the rooms without a hotel card for the elevator. So would have to meet any gal in the lobby.

Wow, so massive and busy. Zillions of shops, rails, and people scurrying about!. Fine dined at Burger King and then an oreo shake at McDonald's. I took lots of pictures and some video both inside and outside the massive station.

After about an hour storm clouds gathering and getting windy. Decided to walk North to the red light district quickly. Massive people straight north then went Left one block and found the Eros Center sign, the homeless on the street and what I assume were the brothel entrances, a strip club with a guy trying to get me in, etc. I had no interest other than just quickly walking by. I always keep my wallet in my front pocket. I also brought with me a little alarm thing that if I pull out the pin, a 120 db screeching alarm goes off to scare away someone or get attention. Outside the train station was approached by a sad looking young women, I assume looking for money but was in German (dah of course), and I just ignored her.

Back to central train station went to the pickup area where Uber left me off. Further to the West was a huge parking lot full of cream taxis. I suspect its hard for them with so many folks like me taking cheaper Uber, so know the fare ahead of time not relying on a meter.

First, Uber could not find me. I am trying to type on cell, but other than in front of main Northside pick up area how to tell plus the GPS location I assume drivers can see. Saw first guy cancel but then another gave it a try. Seemed to have same location problem, and he kept texting me not in English and the phases on the app "I am here' "where are you. " I can not type with a darn on a cell phone so erasing and often redoing in a hurry. Uber does have an excellent backup system by phone. So got him on the phone but hard to understand. Something about by McDonald's. OK went back into the train station and remembered a McDonald's sign and had been there but was a long walk. The driver was patient. Found McDonalds and exit by it. Still on the phone told him was on the way out and I kept hearing him say HI! Then I heard a voice behind me. He was chasing after me in the station behind me. Kind of funny. He was, and I appreciated his patience. Had a friend in his car teaching to be an Uber driver. I believe they were Indian by name, and their talking didn't sound German. Back to hotel fare 7. 66 E.

Going to bed early instead of my usual about 4 AM so I can get up in time for hotel breakfast. Tonight will sign up for the half day trip 9:30 AM to Heidelburg on air-conditioned bus. I hope not raining. Trying to do more tourist stuff and want to try more massage places, but time soon running out.

Frankfurt is a bigger city and its also mainly a financial city filled with bankers so this drives up the price as prices must go up in relation to cost of living and what clients are willing to pay.

I know Germany is focused more on the FKK scene but I'm always surprised to see so few Eros centre reports here, for what seems to me to be very bustling and active area any time I'm in town.

Not sure if something has changed in my body language or demeanour, but the girls seemed to be in bad form. So, my job finally took me to Frankfurt. Had no time for FKK, but I had for visiting the infamous RLD and some massage parlors, here's my report:

1) RLD (Bahnhofsviertel and Breitegasse): basically you find many laufhauses in the same district, but they are a lot dirtier than the ones I saw in Wien. The district in front of the main station is one of the junkiest places I have ever seen. Many drug addicts, dealers, smuggler, pimps, hobos. So pay attention. And prepare to sweat A LOT because you have to climb infinite staircases to see all the girls. Appearance, attitude and prices of the girls may change a lot from place to place. Best try is the Eroscenter, the last laufhaus in Taunusstrae 26, plenty of young girls from Eastern Europe. There's something good at Crazy Sexy (the biggest laufhaus), but also some girls with terrible attitude. In Breitegasse you will find 4-5 other laufhauses, some with good material. In both areas prices are more than fair (20 to 40/50), but sometimes still wasted. Sometimes is a surprise. So, when you get in those places you take your chances.

2) Massage parlors: tried a few, the prices are higher (60 to 75 for a body massage with HJ, half an hour, extra 20 to 50) but service may be very good in the right place. Here's what I tried:

- Kaskade Massage: tried a very young blonde girl, next door type. No extra possible with her, but she was very sensual in her innocence.

- Glamour Massage: here I picked a brunette bombshell with tattoos all over her amazing body. She may had fake tits but still were perfect, and perfect was indeed her attitude. One of the most sensual girl I have ever meet, and open to extras. Best service I had in town.

- Olimpia Wellness: bad experience here. Found only three girls, they may be the ones in the website but I have to say they were not in the same shape. I picked a next door blonde, but hated her lack of experience and good will. Too much talking, always saying "you have to cum now!" every minute. In all the other parlors I had a lot of GFE feelings, here not. Never going back to that place.

- Pams Massage Lounge: excellent experience here. All girls were friendly (even the one that opened the door, too bad it wasn't her day of service). I picked a voluptuous German girl and she was great. If I had more days in the city I would have come back here for sure.
