So because my place was evacuated for the disarming of the British WW2 bomb like wide parts of Frankfurt, I had a forced chance to go out and see the cities two areas: RLD in the Bahnhofsviertel (Central Train Station district); and the Breite Gasse(street on the East side of town). The former is much larger than the latter, however the latter is somewhat calmer .

Make no mistake about it that the Bahnhofsviertel is a really shitty area, with drug addicts, migrants and other scum hanging around. Fights break out, some streets smell like [CodeWord140] and shit, but. Overall I don't think anything will really happen if you just keep to yourself.

To my mind, the central point for your map from which to go out and explore is the intersection of Taunusstrasse and Elbestrasse for the RLD.
