If near the RLD it's easy to catch a train to Dietzenbach, then walk the 15 minutes to FKK40. Unique to the Frankfurt area, the only AO RTC-like club in the area.

I do it that way. I actually find women in the RLD and afterwards say to myself "I can't believe I found that for 30 euro. " I also go to Sharks and Oase. I have to do all three. Staying near the RLD gives me options 24 hours a day. I can't imagine staying in a FKK club for 12 hours. I go for a couple hours and leave. I don't even work a job for 12 hours.

I recommend staying near the Kaiserstrae which is the street running perpendicular to the train station that seems to be the best street. I'm not sure how many hotels fit that bill. If you asked about one of them I might could give an opinion. I like to walk to the My Zeil shopping mall. As far as logistics and things to do, I don't really want to ramble too much. I've done a couple side trips. You can even walk to a movie theater. There are museums and a Zoo. You can go to top of the sky scraper and take a picture. I don't think you can do as much in Darmstadt or Freiderichsdorf.

I don't think you waste any time by staying near the RLD when visiting Sharks and Oase. You actually do need recommendations to figure it all out in my opinion or else you will spend three days eating nothing but McDonalds in the train station. It helps to know little things like where the public rest rooms are. Generally, you have to pay to use a public restroom which is not the norm for me.
