Hi all!

American viking Athens for the first time in October. Staying at the royal Olympic hotel. I am looking forward to the experience of Filis for a few hours. Is my best bet to get to filis by taking a cab? Do you really just find the white lights and walk in? Will there be a mamasan there waiting who takes the euros? Also looking forward to visiting x-bar since it appears to be close to the hotel.

Open Google maps on your computer and open the street view for Filis St. And you will see many white lights on in the daytime. Now the street view may have been taken a while ago, but the lights were on then and they are on now.

Thanks for your report. Please be so kind and answer some questions:

1.) as filis street is a little longer street: are the lady all along the street or are they concentrated on a particular hotspot? (important for my search for a accommodation as I like to be near the lads.).

2.) 20- for euro sex means fucking, right?

3.) are there only brothels or also ladys in the street in Kolonou and filis street?

4.) is "Eshilou" street the place with young women?

1) They seemed to be concentrated in the section just north of Victoria Square. I wouldn't reccommend you stay in that area, it's pretty grim. I stayed on Agiou Konstantinou near Omonia Square and could walk to Filis Street in just over 10 minutes. Or you could use the metro, there is a 5 day pass you can buy for only €9. I found central Athens to be very walkable.

3) Only white light brothels in those areas. The only SWs I saw were at the intersection of Chalkokondili Street and Aristotelous Street, they were there in every afternoon.

Thanks to the reports on here I pretty much knew what to expect and didn't need to do much more research than reading this thread. One piece of touristy advice is to buy the ticket that gets you into loads of places including the Acropolis but buy it at one of the quieter sites. For example buy it at the Temple of Olympian Zeus or the Kerameikos then when you go the Acropolis you can walk past the 100 people in the queue, get your ticket stamped and go straight in.

Why do you prefer Spain?

For the quality of service I can get there. For €50 or €60 I can have half an hour with OWO and in some places I can get an hour from €80 and the service will be far better then I received in any of the places I tried in Greece. Also in Spain I can go into a brothel and have line up of anything up to 12 girls to choose from whereas in Greece I'd have to visit 12 different places to see that many. And I do like latinas!

I had two nights in Athens. I was staying in the Stanley Hotel. The white light places near by really did not appeal so I used yourangels. Gr communnicating via Whatsapp. They were hyper efficient and the girl I chose, Katerina, arrived right on time. Reception stopped her on the way in and called me to make sure I was expecting company, but I guess this may not happen if the lobby was busy with guests. She was great. Her photos were perhaps a bit old, but we spent a pleasant hour together and I would happily see her again.

The hotel that I stayed in turned out to be about 3 minutes walk away from Kolonou Street which is the centre of the real budget mongering area of Athens. A quickie here will set you back €10. There are many small brothels in this street and the surrounding area, they are easy to spot as when they are open they have a white light outside. Other than one place that had two girls all the ones that I went into had only one girl working. The area is pretty grim and seems to be where all the illegal immigrants do their mongering, they can be seen going to the brothels in groups which seems a bit strange to me. I had a good look round the knocking shops in this area and was not impressed with the quality of the ladies, I didn't find any that appealed to me.

Filis Street and it's side streets are a slightly more expensive option. The system is the same with white lights outside and one or very rarely two girls working inside. The price here is €20, all this gets you is a CBJ and sex for 15-25 minutes. Most of the punters in this area seemed to be Greek and this was the only place where I heard "Greek only". I was negotiating in a place when another punter came through the door, they told him "Greek only" so he left. He looked middle eastern. That prompted me to mention that I'm not Greek (as they were well aware since we were speaking in English) and they said they didn't really mean Greek only they just didn't want immigrants in the place. I found the quality in this area to be a big step up and had a couple of sessions here, both with Russian girls. My advice would be that is you see a girl you fancy here just go for it, if you carry on looking round someone will probably beat you to her and there's a good chance that you will forget where you saw her anyway. One of my sessions was pretty good but the other was very mechanical. For a quick, cheap shag it's a good area but not really for me I think. And I got sick of walking up stairs to the first floor brothels.

I also decided to try out the studios that can be found all over the place. Again each one has only one or very rarely two girls. They are easily spotted as they have a neon sign outside that says Studio. They seem to be spread around the city in little clusters which is handy as you can pop into several before you decide which girl you want. The areas I went to were Kassandras Street, Levoforos Konstantinoupoleos Street (between Iera Odos and Leof Athinon) and Vrilissou Street. The basic price in all of them was €50 which again was for a CBJ and sex for 20-25 minutes. OWO was on offer but would have meant taking the all inclusive half hour option for €100. I found the standard of the girls to be far better in the studios and the facilities were also much better than the cheapo places. The service was pretty good in all of them although the girl is out of the door the second you finish (as was the case in the budget places) so no chance of a chat afterwards. I'm in agreement with the character in Game of Thrones who said "I like to talk afterwards, otherwise we might as well be dogs".

Overall it seems Athens is unbeatable for a cheap quickie but for anything other than that I think I'd prefer to be in Spain.

I had posted prior to my recent Athens tour trip requesting some local intel. The trip is over. I had a great time touring Greece with the group and I also had enough solo time to have a couple of adventures. I stayed at the Hilton and when everyone else wanted to recover for a few hours early one evening. I went on a long walk down the main drag for a 40 minutes, taking enough touristy pictures for my alibi but also ending up at Vourvachi 19 Studio. It was chosen solely based on its location to where I was staying. Basic service 50 Euro, DATY 60, BBBJCIM 70. There were 2 gals, one a blonde brickhouse from Romania, the other a slimmer taller brunette. I chose the blonde. Room had a cubicle stand-up shower, a towel pack and was neat enough for my brief time there. (I do wonder if they ever change the sheets.) Weird, I had a different impression. They speak English very good, but they are not attractive.

Plenty of places in filis street or all over town where you can window shop you don't have to buy. Lots of locals cruise in and out for a free look. The problem is local Greek women have poor English skills which makes it hard with FLs in the street.
