I did try a dating agency to see if they could find some dates. They wanted 700 euros to join the agency and said it would take a few weeks to organise dates but it was too long to wait. And they didn't have any photo albums of women as you would expect. So I left that idea on the back burner. I have noticed if just a few SW are seen in an area they move in big time with a bus of heavies with shields and coshes and glocks to keep them out of the areas. Its way over the top on a few women trying to make a few euros to survive. Its not as if there are 100's of hookers working. The working girls in brothels or studios are legal. Prostitution in Greece is legal. On the contrary the SWs are illegal so the police is just doing the right thing. Policemen with shields and glocks (MAT) do not arrest them. They deal with riots, demonstrations etc. Furthermore in 2012 KEELPNO (Greek CDC) examined around 1000 SWs and found 82 HIV positive, meaning an 8% HIV prevalence. SWs are risky. I wouldn't suggest them to anybody. Also, I don't believe that they are Russians. Probably Albanians, Romanians, Bulgarians and some Greeks. Also unfortunately, drug addicts.

Economies never boost with prostitution! Commerce, tourism, energy but not prostitution. Thankfully, a European Union country cannot turn to Bangkok.

Its an absolute mystery where the Greek women find punters as they surely do need the extra cash with the economy in the dumps. You see older guys with young women around town but where they make contact is a total mystery. The streets are full of well dressed local s. I see women mooching around when people watching in cafes. They don't appear to be going to work just mooching around. I was sitting outside a cafe in piraeus near the sailing club and some juicy women are about. Maybe they want to be picked up but Greek language is needed to make a deal.

Different girls from different nations work there under different, 50-100, mamasan. I wonder what caused the decline of quality among many girls there. As for SWs at Omonea, have you picked one? How was the service? I am sure they said that they were Russians. But are you sure they really are? Assuming that you would have to pay about 10 euros for hotel, the total cost is jot cheaper than Filis. They may be working at studios in the night..

I gave it some time in this area as I was staying nearby in omonia area. The Parnon hotel would be ideal if you wanted to check the SW day and night. I wasn't saying filis has declined but previous trips I found it his and miss and a rushed service so decided to miss it this trip. I found some other studios which have some nice women but I can't explain the address in English as I came across them some time back by accident. Tried some dives in metax area but the women were a rough lot this trip but before they were ok in some places. Its all hit and miss in the brothels as to the quality of the women you find therein. The SW could have been from other Balkans countries I can't be sure but looked Russian. Some of them were a bit chubby.

Strangely they weren't there at night only in mornings and afternoons. Maybe because the local police station is across the street and the cops have shakedowns on hookers. This area is the only place I have ever seen SW offering sex. They appear all over the local back streets at different times and may not be around some times.

I also got my wallet nicked by PP at SEF station in the lift. Not much was in it as I keep it low in case of theft. So beware Romanian PPs are around town in crowded areas. Where they work in gangs.

Thanks to all with nice info. Unfortunately, I did not have good harvest yesterday I visited Filis (6 pm, raining). I visited 66/66 a and the 66 girl is 5/6; so I went to 66 a. Don't feel rejected. Its a spill over effect of the resentment / racism to the Arab immigrants. Arabs are refused at all the casas on Fillis. BTW, most white guys are refused by Japanese women in Japan.

Glad she refused you rather than being forced to give you a service, which would have been a very bad service.

Just wear stylish cloth and have a fashionable hair, and try other places on Fillis and adjacent streets. There are tons of women who are waiting for you there. If you wear eye glasses, switch to contact lenses.
