For anyone that is interested in this but afraid to try I can heartily recommend it. I had a 7 hour stopover in Athens ans was keen to try the 10 and 20 euro scene. Strange but good. The places you are looking for have lights on over the doorway like trick-or-treat at Halloween. It's a street of a few blocks with a few side streets. There were about 50 places with lights on this weekend. The street seems kind of shady at first but it's pretty tame. There were about 50 guys going from light to light.
