The sex scene in Athens (but also Thesaloniki) is and has always been very rich. I wonder why this is not really reflected into this site. Language barrier is a problem, then tourism in Athens has decreased the last years and then locals seem to keep it like a precious secret.

I think the reason is simply that, unless you stay there for any other reason, it isn't after all such a good choice compared to more popular cities.

I stayed in one of the 5 start hotel in Syngrou avenue, which is famous for the strip clubs.

As claimed by other authors, the syngrou avenue is infested with T-girls and normal girls. After 10 PM, we can see them on either side of the road.
