OK need more info on Chania.

The Medusa strip club and similar are far too expensive for locals (other than rich ones) and I'd guess the red light alley mainly targets international sailors and military from Souda Bay and horny tourists.

This leads me to guess that local men (Greeks, Albanians etc) in Chania have their own spots to go to that would be far better value than something as upmarket as Medusa and probably set up quite differently.

I note Medusa did not seem to have Russian strippers - there were Romanians and an Uzbek and a Greek girl I think. Since Russian "hostesses" are all over Greece I'm wondering where the **** they operate in Chania.

A very old (drachma-era) report somewhere referred to "bars with no names" with girls and a number of other clubs presumably somewhere near where Medusa is.

Now: what/where are these bars/massage parlors/escort services/whatever? Can someone please post something?

Also: Is Playboy Club still open or has it closed?

There is a club that is open (after 23PM), located about 8 km East from Rethymnon. Follow the High Way (E90) East. The club is located along the side (left) of the road, and there is a viable sign up in the air next to the road, saying strip club. The place is next to a AVIN gas station.

This is not the best place I've been, but it is one of the few on the Create island. When I was there it was 4 - 5 girls there of various quality. Now and then they did a show. I assume (did not try due to little time) you can get them in bed.

There is also an other that I did not visited few km Vest of this place. In order to find it you turn Vest on the E90 from the other club and take of the E90 on next intersection (small) then you are in Platanias. Continue Vest on the "express road" and you find it on right hand side next to the road, same sign as the other club.

If anyone know if there is more action in the area please post it.

Thanks to Daffons clear description I found the place with no problem at all. I copy past the good description again:

Looking North (facing the sea), the last block on Minoos has two alleyways (one next to a stencilled sign 'One message for Nato Soldiers: Fuck off' - this tipped me off that this is exactly where this activity takes place!) these connect to a parallel courtyard ΙΑΡΟΔΟΣ ΜΙΝΟΟΣ. There are about ten walkups cheek by jowl.

Surprisingly, it it not even cost a lot at all.... I payed 30€ for a 28 - 33 yesr old German lady. Not a 10 I would say, but really not bad. After paying 30€ you does not feel like ripped off either.. Good.

I keep seartching in the Rethymnon ares, and found two strip clubs that I will visit. Those are open late, and being located East (8km) of Rethymnon . One in Platanes (on the side road of the E90), the other one along the E90 right side when going East, about 10kn from Rethymnon .

Guys, there's nothing so frustrating as vague directions when you are on foot in an unfamiliar city with maybe only a short time away from family or colleagues. So I have gone to great lengths to be specific on location and access. This is in some ways a penance for not writing up my two excellent trips to Prague in June and December 2006. However that city is very well documented already, only experiences and opinions differ.

I could find nothing in Souda (and I drove around backstreets around the central area several times) so this is about Chania.

The red light district in Chania is described by others but inexactly. It took me 40 min of brisk walking to find it at the extreme East end of the harbour just before the North end of Minoos (ΜΙΝΟΟΣ) street just before the opening in the city wall through which you can see the sea outside the harbour. Looking North (facing the sea), the last block on Minoos has two alleyways (one next to a stencilled sign 'One message for Nato Soldiers: Fuck off' - this tipped me off that this is exactly where this activity takes place!) these connect to a parallel courtyard ΙΑΡΟΔΟΣ ΜΙΝΟΟΣ. There are about ten walkups cheek by jowl. I found and checked these out on Saturday afternoon at about 2pm and they were cool about me seing the girls and saying I would be back in the evening. I visited five and found as follows. The one with steel grille yellow wall with a crayon 3 on had a a sign in the entrance saying ΑΦΡΟΔΙΤΙ. The girl, Afroditi, was allegedly and believably greek (from Thessaloniki) with a slim hourglass figure and a mane of dark hair and a beautiful oval face.More of this girl later...

The next three were each staircases to a first floor. Two black girls, which aren't normally my thing but I was tempted by one and the other was certainly attractive too and a rather plainer but still acceptable girl of unknown European origin. I was about to say no fatties or hags here except I have a recovered memory of one such at one of the ground floor doorways where I suppressed a shudder. Hey she may be somebody's dream girl but I'm not that objective. Another ground floor revealed a maid who just about explained that there weren't any girls yet. English varied from usually pretty good to rearely non existent.

So most of these places operated from 2pm at the latest till 9pm and more often midnight - on a saturday in April anyway.All the walkuyps were clean and the area and the walkups felt safe. The price universally suggested was €50 for covered suck and fuck - no time mentioned but we clearly were talking cum once and within 15-20 mins.

I came back to Afroditi at 10:45pm and was greeted by the maid (Either a TV or a bass in the local choir) and sent up a marble staircase into a spacious immaculate room with UV lighting, Athena posters of black and white nudes of both sexes, a clean bed, basin and strategic mirrors. Afroditi duly arrived looked just as good when naked, was professionally courteous rather than freindly and gave a good, if routine covered BJ and sex in about three positions. Nothing fancy but just what it said on the tin. After I came - I can last long time due to my advanced years but this isn't popular in such places - she cleaned herself up, got dressed and said goodbye about as fast as she could without appearing rude. I was quite satisfied with the value and the whole experience. I have some great girls in the UK who give much more and a longer time, but for more money. The experiences are not really comparable but I do appreciate the challenge of World Sex reportage.

I arrive a few days before my daughters. Coming from Dubai to the Med. What a great place. The hotel I stay at is in Stallos which is near Chania. Nice little place where the people are very friendly and the best part is that all the hotel guests, except for me, are Scandinavian. Blonde hair and tits as far as the eye can see.
In Chania there are a few strip clubs and a small red light district. I personally am not into the sterile 50 Euros you fuck me for twenty minutes thing. YMMV.
In Stallos there are two clubs that I know of. The first is called Diamonds. Upscale strip club where you can get private dances and grab what you like. On the rare occasion you may get laid, or a hand job, however be prepared to spend considerable money first.

Then there is the Playboy Club. On the coast road, as you are leaving Chania, maybe 8 km on the left or 3 km before Stallos there is a lower class hostess type club frequented mostly by the locals. This year it had some Albanian and/or CIS girls. Most were mid 20’s through mid thirties. Many had larger builds. Normally this is not my thing however when you drink too much, well you know.

Also this is not the place you want to start trouble unless you are a serious masochist. Naturally I am attracted to this place like a moth to a flame.

I order a beer and begin a conversation with the bartender. Some small talk and the conversation takes a natural turn to sex. She doesn’t go with customers yada yada. I give her my phone number and if she wants to have a drink, call me. Suddenly this very nice girl with a lot of black curly hair (very attractive) begins a conversation and asks if I want a private dance. Of course I do so she led me to a secluded corner booth and begins to do a strip. Things progress to her bare ass grinding into my lap when the dace is over. She says “I like sex”. I reply “me too”. She says for 100 we can go for sex. As we headed out the back door she stops to talk to the boss and I pay him the 100. Through the back door into the alley there is a plastic lawn chair. Well what would you do? I already paid.

Read the reports with dismay, going back to Crete in March and was looking forward to it. I was there in the 70's and girls were cute, friendly, and in the 3-5 USD range. Boy have times changed.

I recently finished a tour in Souda Bay. This place is nice not much to do. There are couple of places that offer nude bathing unfortunatelly they are very exclusive and they are for invitation only. As far as WP there arent much either. There are two strip joints one in the center of Xania and the girls there are a bit in the gold digging side they are fiiiine but very expensive you can pick them up for about 300 euros after their shifts are over. The best thing that I found was to head to the night clubs and the bars local girls will go home effortlessly and will provide a good time
I am set to go back over there next year and I am hoping to have better luck over there.

Alright, I will fess up what I know, not much.

There is a house near the hania door.
