I was talking about Hungarian SIM card. It is wise to buy it while you are in Budapest. I am not an expert in banking so I do not know if you will be able to open an account in one of the banks of Budapest as a tourist. I assume most banks will require that you have a valid residence permit / work visa or an address card or some kind of proof of rental such as a lease. You can try it anyway. Do you not have a friend who has a credit card with which you can buy membership?

I know you, so for someone like you, not a typical monger, Sarajevo can be interesting destination, exotic one. You can go & stand on a Latin bridge where Franz Ferdinand was assassinated, than you can take a walk in Bascarsija & buy some souvenirs. You can than try Sarajevo's kebab & treat yourself with tufahije for a desert. For mongering / phenomenal night life go somewhere else, Belgrade for example.

It is actually 2 hours & 40 minutes. The only exception is a train that leaves from Budapest at 7.53 AM, it arrives in Vienna in 3 hours. The link with the train timetable:https://www.mavcsoport.hu/mav-start/...zi-utazas/becs . The most the most frequently you will travel with Railjet.

I know I could post this in some other forums, but this one is active and some of the cities I am going to ask about are quite dead.

I am scheduling a trip for next May, first weekend in Budapest and the rest of the week the next city is up for debate. I've been to Europe a few times (Moscow, Budapest twice, Prague twice) and am a pretty confident monger, and lately I've been thinking of a former-Yugoslav invasion.
