The scene is different. That is for sure. It is more difficult. However, there is always a way. I have been mongering there since 2000. It is definitely worthwhile visiting. The city has amazing & very unique night life. The food is phenomenal & the prices are super favorable. Many people from your country come there to celebrate a New year or to visit music festivals Guca & Exit or to go to the spas. It really depends what are you into when it comes to mongering. If you are okay with street walkers the offer is good, but at certain times during the day & in certain areas in the city & its vicinity. There are girls who work in their apartments or they come to your rented apartment & of course there are elite girls. You can find some really beautiful girls at favorable prices. Elite girls are more expensive. You should give it a try. I do recommend it.

From tomorrow Friday, June 12th, Croatia is to join the white list as the 7th country, where Hungarian citizens can travel without any restrictions (and vica versa). Croatia is surely an important destination for Hungarians in the summer season, but the situation and perspectives of inbound tourism still look gloomy, to say the least, and that already after three months of suspended animation (for example in April the official output of the tourism sector tumbled by 97% compared to last April, wherein foreign guest nights performed at about one percent of last year, and domestic tourism was at about 5%) And a short-term recovery seems most unlikely, especially in Budapest, where foreign tourists accounted for 95% of guest nights last year. It is also important to know that from among the 8 countries whose citizens spent the biggest money last year, only one is on the white list right now (Germany), and even if regulations may be eased in the coming weeks and months for other countries, it is hard to imagine that tourist would actually arrive in big numbers all of a sudden from countries like USA, UK, Italy, Russia, France, Spain, Israel (the other seven biggest spenders), or even the Benelux or Scandinavian countries.

Interesting to know that predictions about the short and mid-term perspectives of tourism in Hungary show a spectacular split whether it's about Budapest or the rest of the country. Tourism outside Budapest seems to recover better, some even predict that the rest of the season could be at around 80 percent of the record-breaking last year (bookings have already surpassed 50% in some areas for the summer), mostly because more Hungarians will spend their holidays inside Hungary. But even there, experts warn that this is only about the pure numbers of guest nights, and revenues should suffer much bigger, as the average domestic guest spends just about half as much as an average foreign tourist.

But the real deuce of a mess is expected in Budapest. I quote one expert saying: "95 percent of tourists arriving in Budapest are foreigners, and even if guests start to show up at hotels in Budapest in the autumn, we cannot expect more than a booking rate of around 30 percent for the rest of the season" - adding that it is impossible to say exactly when everything would go back into the normal groove, maybe next spring the situation will return to normal". So considering that the past three months have already been null and void, the yearly booking rate can go down to as low as 20% of the last year in Budapest, which is a disaster of course.

And of course this may influence the sex market as well. There have been a lot of speculation about it in Hungarian forums and other platforms, and now we already have some actual field data and real experiences as well. These are starting to draw up an interesting picture, or at least a raw outline, which fits in with the expectations in some aspects, but not in every aspect. Anyway, I think that the big question for most of the audience on this forum is whether there would be a certain period when foreigners can already come to Budapest without restrictions, not just legally, but technically and psychologically as well, but they still do it in low numbers and therefore they could face some kind of a buyer's market. Right now I would say that it is not (or not yet) a heavy buyer's market in general, but some great bargains have already shown up. And the situation is changing rapidly, as more and more girls dare to return (though not all of them yet), and some new faces appear on the stage, too. I hope to provide you a few details about it soon, but as this is only a hobby for me, and I have a lot of other things to do, I just ask for a bit of patience.

By the way, you should come to Belgrade too. Lots of people from Slovenia do. There are cheaper options too, in Belgrade & its vicinity. However, just like with elite girls, you need local knowledge & to be connected. Belgrade & Budapest are my favorite cities for night life & mongering.

According to the mutual agreement and based on the 243/2020 Hungarian Government Decree Slovenian citizens are allowed to enter from the territory of Slovenia to the territory of Hungary (and coming back) without any restrictions.

So if the country (like Slovenia and I think also Austria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia.) has mutual agreement with Hungary, there is no restrictions with travelling and crossing the border anymore.

I believe that from 15th of June, even more travel restrictions within EU / EEA will be lifted. I know that Czech Republic will also open borders. They have placed countries in 3 categories if I am not mistaken, and if you are coming from country with low risk (I know that Slovenia and Austria are on that list) you will be able to enter ant travel without restrictions. For residents of more risky countries (regarding COVID of course), I believe that you will have to present negative COVID test, no older than 3 days. BTW. I believe that it is good system, it makes sense that residents coming from countries with good epidemiological picture would have less restrictions.

Seems like we have definitely entered the age of facebook and twitter diplomacy. The Hungarian foreign minister announced yesterday evening on FB that now the restrictions are indeed and completely lifted in terms of three countries: Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic. So from and to these directions travels are possible without any ifs and whens: no time limits, no quarantine, no need of negative Covid test. But in terms of other countries you should continue to be very careful and check the details of the actual regulations.

From tomorrow Sunday (June 7th) Germany will join the "white list", so German citizens may enter Hungary without any restrictions.

But beware that this again applies only to those who come with a German passport. So you can't do it with a British or US passport for example, even if you come from Germany and even if you have spent the past months there.

Very well done, mate. My advice was that you should be careful and defy the general sentiment of "everything is free now", and plan your trip carefully to avoid traps like the example I mentioned in connection with travels between Hungary and Croatia. You did that job, and found out that in your case there is actually no such trap or other barrier, so fine. You are also spot on with the list of the countries with mutual agreement for their citizens to cross the borders between them and Hungary. It is the same list that has just been released on the site of the Hungarian Consular Services for Hungarian citizens (which now seems to be the most reliable and most up-to-date source about the topic in Hungary).

However, you sould be aware that the lack of restrictions applies only to citizens of the relevant countries and only if they travel expressly and directly between the two countries. That is, the rules do not apply to citizens from other countries crossing the relevant borders, nor to anyone who comes from a third country (so theoretically even a Hungarian citizen should be quarantined if he crosses the Slovenian-Hungarian border but coming from Croatia, of course it would not be easy to control and discover such a case).
