Reading several previous pages I saw that escort agencies are highly not recommendable due to fake photos, not existing girl etc. What about girls that have their own website and call themselves 'independent'? Can they be trusted or have anyone tried this? Of course, since I haven't subscribed yet, I don't ask for exact names, but in general, how can one know from website that this is real?

Website is not a magical word. Just because a girl has a website or you see a girl on the website that does not mean much or guarantee anything. Sometimes girls who are advertising on 2 main websites create their own to attract foreigners & rip them off by overpricing them. Why would you pay 180-250 euro for a girl whose price is 65 euro?

It is safe to go to their places. Some are alone in their apartments and others share apartments with several women. I prefer the private apartments. It's not always easy to tell, but some reviews mention it. When the apartment is shared, there will be multiple mobile phones and sometimes they will answer for each other. I saw one women in the 13th district who was sharing an apartment with others. Was weird in that from the time I called until I got their, she had another client and I had to wait. A strange feeling.

You will want a mobile number and they may hang up on your out of nervousness if they hear you are a foreigner. This is why I suggest starting by saying "Szia" and slowling going to English.

So what about those of us who don't speak Hungarian? Is it completely hopeless or is it actually possible to find girls who speak English on these sites?

You can find some. They are minority. Very often you will be talking to middle age ladies whose job is to pick up the phone & talk to foreigners in English. Those aunties can be confused sometimes & you might end up with a girl you did not ask for. Or they can tell you that girl you want will come to your place & later you will find out that you were lied to, when you realise you have been stood up. I am a local & I know what I am talking about. Very often young hotties prefer Hungarian clients even if they speak a little English. That is just the way it is. Older / less attractive girls who speak some English are more keen to entertain foreigners.

On Rosszlanyok there is a filter for language, but it's not obvious. On any listing there is a box at the top with some check boxes to filter the list. In the bottom right corner is "More", click on that and some additional filters, including language, will appear.

Note: my experience is that many listed as speaking English can only manage one or two words, so prepare for some frustration.

Yes there is search option for languages too. And yes girls with english flag but still speaking only few words of it. That usually means girl will accept english speaking foreigners too but when calling there is someone else who can speak english in phone. So when you or someone here calling and girl can't speak enough english / german at phone when advertising with english or german flag that don't mean she is just arrogant or bad, but just that girl who speaks english in phone is not there that time, either because she is busy with other client or just simply not working that day.

They don't falsely advertise foreign flags because it is also waste of their own time when foreigners calling (they don't deliberately wait foreigners to call so they can hang up to you)! One tip also is that if girl advertises with example english flag and you call but turns out she can't speak english to you then you could send SMS to her and say POLITELY something that you called but could not speak anyone english, and wish to meet girl-x etc. Sometimes you get english reply to your text message and you can set up meeting, sometimes little later you get "fake call" one or two rings from the girls indicating "now you can call me again" and then when you call there is someone answering who speaks english with you! Or sometimes nothing, then just move on to others there is plenty fish on the sea. But you HAVE to use Hungarian sim card and number and have number visible when calling.

Answered here many times. No it is not hopeless at all and yes you can find girls on those sites.

Only one here claiming otherwise are people who sell you paid guide or translation services and whose own best interest is to make this city "girl-scene" seem much worse than it actually is.
