Answered many times, but like FlAdventurer says there are no problems and no difficulties, unless yourself act stupid and bring in some gypsy street hookers who anyone can spot.

And same goes for hotels all over eastern Europe, big big majority of hotels will not say anything or give you ever any hassle for bringing in girls. Hotels want your money and want you come back next time and want you write good reviews, so as long you act discreetly they will not do nothing!

As for 4 star hotels I would recommend Novotel Budapest Centrum or Carat Boutique Hotel. Until recently all hotels in Budapest were girl friendly, but that is not the case anymore.
