Okay, here it is, the trip report for my October 2016 visit to Budapest. My apologies in advance if some of you find this report a little too detailed. But if you look at my past trip reports for Medellin and Sint Maarten, you'll see that I tend to be a little thorough when I write. So, here we go:

1) Guidebook: I used Rick Steves Budapest:

This guidebook is great if you'd like to see some of Budapest while you're not mongering. Normally when I travel, I prefer the Lonely Planet series of guidebooks. But for all of my travels to Europe, I've always used Rick Steves. Rick has been exploring Europe since 1973, and his guidebooks really cut to the chase and give you great information about how to explore cities in Europe quickly, efficiently, and cheaply.

2) Hotel: I stayed at girl-friendly Courtyard Budapest City Center:

Because this is a Marriott-chain hotel, making a reservation online is quick and easy. If you want breakfast in the morning, be sure to include it when you make your reservation, because if you wait until you arrive in Budapest to add breakfast to your stay, it's much more expensive. The breakfast is delicious, featuring eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit, coffee, and other items. Also, if you want a quieter room, make sure you tell the receptionist when you check-in that you want a room that faces the inner courtyard of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It's in the center of Pest and has both a Metro station and a tram stop in front of the hotel, which might come in handy if you plan on having incall sessions (visiting the girls at their apartments) while you're in Budapest. Right across the street from Courtyard Budapest City Center is a McDonald's, with a Spar grocery store about a 1-minute walk from the hotel. For those of you like me who carry US Dollars and exchange them for the local currency when you're in a foreign country, you've got the Gold Change currency exchange booth about a 3-minute walk from the hotel, with Correct Change located a little farther up the street.

3) Phone: If you want to increase the likelihood that the girls in Budapest will answer your calls or respond to your text messages when you contact them for sessions, you need to have a Hungarian phone number. How do you get one? When you arrive at the airport in Budapest, pass through immigration and the luggage scan room. When you come to the glass doors to leave the terminal, don't go outside. Turn left and walk down a long corridor for about 30 seconds to another part of the terminal. On the left, you will see a Vodafone store. Go inside and tell them you want to buy a SIM card so you can make calls and send text messages while you're in Budapest. Vodafone has several prepaid plans to choose from:

I purchased their Max-L-Plan, which gave me 100 minutes or texts and 1 Gigabyte of data for only 9000 Forint. Whatever plan you choose, you will need to provide your passport due to an anti-terrorism measure. After you buy a plan and the Vodafone staff fills out some paperwork, they will install your SIM card and make sure everything is working properly. The entire process will take about 15 minutes. An important thing to remember is that in order for the Vodafone SIM card to work in your mobile phone, your phone must be unlocked. If you don't know what that means, talk to your carrier. Another important thing to remember is that the Vodafone store at the airport is only open from 8 in the morning until 9 at night, so if you arrive in Budapest very early in the morning or very late at night and the store isn't open, you'll have to find a different Vodafone store in Budapest. To do that, use Google Maps and search for "Vodafone, Budapest. ".

4) Transportation: In order to use public transportation (Metro and tram) in Budapest, you need to buy the appropriate pass:

Remember, in front of Courtyard Budapest City Center, you've got a Metro station and tram stop. Can you buy a pass for this transportation at the airport in Budapest? Yes, and the desk is located literally right next to the Vodafone store. I purchased the Budapest 7-Day Travelcard for 4950 Forint and had to provide my passport when I did.

5) Taxis: If you don't want to use the Metro or tram, you can use taxis, and FoTaxi is a main taxi company in Budapest:

How do you take a taxi from the airport in Budapest to your hotel? When you arrive at the airport in Budapest, pass through immigration and the luggage scan room, and then walk through the glass doors to leave the terminal. On the left, there will be a large box with the yellow word "Taxi" on each side. Tell the attendant where you want to go. The attendant will give you a voucher with the taxi details (license plate, etc) on it and a "Calculated Transfer Fare. " Get in your taxi and pay the calculated transfer fare when you reach your destination. My fare was 6450 Forint for a 30-minute ride to Courtyard Budapest City Center. Warning! Ignore anyone inside the airport terminal who approaches you and asks if you need a taxi. They are likely not with an official taxi company and you will pay a much higher fare. And remember, never hail a taxi on the street in Budapest. Get your hotel or restaurant to call a taxi for you.

6) Rosszlanyok: This one of the main sites to find girls while you're in Budapest:

The nice thing about this site is that an english version is available simply by clicking or tapping on the flags in the upper right part of the page and then clicking or tapping on the British flag.

Although there are several age groups to search within, I concentrated on the 18 to 24 group. A few weeks before my arrival in Budapest, I spent about 15 minutes each day reading girls' profiles in this group. Nearly every girl indicates she speaks english by having a British flag in the upper center of her profile or by explicitly saying "I speak English. " So how do you know if she's telling the truth? Every single message I received, good and bad, was crucial in helping me make decisions that resulted in a successful mongering trip to Budapest.

Typical first-timer report. Too many things in this report have already been mentioned before. I have already said at least 5 times that Fo taxi is the most reliable taxi in the city. The same goes for advice to never hail a taxi on the street in Budapest, I have said it many times too. Also, I have already given link where all the useful info about public transport can be found. Courtyard Budapest City Center is a girl friend hotel at a good location, but it is not the only one. Besides, very important info about this hotel is that you need to pay for WI FI in the room. Not a good thing. WI FI is a crucial if you want to browse the 2 main sites. Novotel Budapest Centrum hotel, which is 2 minutes away from Courtyard Budapest City Center, has good WI FI & it is free, plus hotel is cheaper & rooms are of good quality. Buying Hungarian SIM card at the airport is an option that costs 9000 Ft & you have to show your passport. In many small phone shops in city center you can buy Hungarian SIM card for 2500 FT. For that you get only 600 Ft balance, but you can top it off with 3500 Ft & if needed with 3000 Ft more. So, much better solution than buying it on the airport. Adriana is the only girl in my 20 years of mongering in Budapest whom I stopped after 35 seconds of blow job, took my money & went home. The worst blow job ever. Pretty face, but ass was bigger than on photos when I visited several years ago. She might have changed her terrible service & attitude, but I doubt it. She does not allow reviews on www.rosszlanyok.hu for a reason. Maya19 is a seasoned working girl. She has been on www.rosszlanyok.hu for years, but of course you could not have known that as you are first timer. One more thing, "one time per session is typical in Budapest" is a line for foreigners. If you pay 1 hour, you are entitled to 2 pops. Again, because you are first-timer you could not have known that. Oh FYI, all 3 girls included the cost of taxi in their price 20000 Ft + 5000 FT & 25000 FT + 5000 Ft. But, there is something else you did not know & that is, although girls charge 5000 Ft for the taxi, some of them come to the address by car, they have a driver, by public transport or they simply walk, if your hotel is in city center. I know this. How? Because I have seen it many times when I was standing in front of the hotel entrance or building's street door waiting for girls to arrive. Nina, new girl, did not try her yet. Ashley Diamond is one of the strangest & most unreliable girls in Budapest, especially with foreigners. Free info from me to you & all the others member of this great forum. What do you think was the reason 5 girls did not answer your messages? Maybe because they were in English? Me thinks so. I am glad you had a nice time in Budapest, but it could have been much better. Keep coming to this beautiful city. The more you come the more things you will learn about its mongering scene. But, one thing will always be out of your reach, beautiful girls who speak Hungarian only.
