    Well said European Man.
No mention about fruits and tomatos pickers in the South, Rumanian and Moldavian masons in our constructions ... and what about internet and phone centres where Bangali boys work from sunrise to midnight for maybe 500 euro/month Sa and Su included.

The real slave is not the prostitute but a young girl working in a house of a rich Italian family as domestic without any contribute, always available 24/7, who is even not allowed to use the telephone and the shower daily. But she is mentioned as "honest worker saving money for her future" and the family as "an open minded family who is not afraid to employ foreigners"!

Another reason of "slavery" is the forbid of entry Italy.
As well known, citizen from countries other then UE are not allowed to enter Italy at all.
It is compulsory for them to travel with the mafia care (fake passport, fake visa, fake staying permit) and mafia doesn't give anything for free.

Sexuality makes fear and all the attention is focused on it!

I don't understand why, when a person talk about slaves, him/her talk about ONLY sexual slaves that work as prostitute.

And chinese slaves that work in italy? And chinese slaves that work in China and that make various object of low techonolgy that NICE RELIGIOUS MOM and DAD buy for their children?

And foreigns that wash the glasses of cars? Do you think that they are free and that they have choosed this way?

And Philippines women that came in italy? Do you think that they buy a ticket for the airplaine (800 euro) and came in italy when they will find a job in five minutes?

There is the maphia in every of these cases BUT I don't understand WHY media talk ONLY about prostitution mafia.

    AH.

IMHO you are running after a holy illusion, I mean not to monger SW in Roma to keep your conscience clean from the risk to go with a slave.

Many girls will tell you stories to had been trapped into the road work to save their 'face' and dignity. I don't think that a girl - an unknown one - can admit eyes to eyes to be proud to work on road and to be such a work her only ambition and source of satisfation. They will try to tell you that their wish was to come here to work as taylor, baby-sitter, domestic, waiter but someone abused of her innocence, maybe also to stimulate your mercy and get more money.

On the contrary try to interview someone who is not yet here - like the various girls that you can meet on chat and messenger in internet - and they all will express you their wish to come to Italy for working on roads, as free own choise of course.

Any sort of prostitution can hide overworking, trafficking, illegality, violence even for fine escort girls, luxurios bars, expansive brothels, sexual tournee, if legal or illegal.

With this I don't want not to accept the idea of slavery, trafficking and similar items existing in the world of the commercial sex, but I want just to minimize the dimension of this phenomena, enlarged by journalists, priests and heralds of morality and chastity.

But I'm thinking that not so few SWs in Italy are forced into prostitution and so they are not "free to choose" at all.
I don't know if many forum members are going to stop mongering, I won't. I just can say that I stop mongering with streetwalkers in Rome, but I continue to monger where prostitution should be really "woman's free choise".

    Tu per Tu

My experience in the club "Tu per Tu" in via dei 4 cantoni last week. Went there on thursday which may be not the best one. The club, whose owner is the same than the well known Blue Moon, opened some weeks ago. A classical lap dance/table dance club, with some 4 to 5 girls, most romanian. I chatted with a slim and young italian one. You can chat as long as you want, knowing that they will come regularly to ask you if you want to drink and offer one to the girl (15 E each time). Then the girl can make a strip tease in a prive, for 80 E x 10 minutes - 120 E x 15 mn, and so on. The girl told me than you can also ask to get out with a girl and have some more serious... discussion, paying first 100 E to the club for a champagne bottle, and 100 E for the girl.
I was not so enthusiastic but may be better to go there on friday and saturday night. The club opens at 10 pm, but shows do not start before midnight.

    Slaves

I think that the vast majority of forum members are against slavery. This applies to prostitution or to any other kind of forced labour (remeber the reports on La Repubblica about the fruit picking slaves in Puglia). I do not agree that all the SWs are innocent girls tricked into the trade and forced to work every night. I met some girls who worked in flats and had been SWs (Claudya from escortforum website for example). They were quite unsympathethic with exploited girls. Their point was that you have to be vvvvvery dumb to believe an Albanian Romeo who declares his love and offers a romantic tour to Italy. Claudya used traders'services to come to Italy illegally and sometimes payed for some protection (if Hannibal the Cannibal tries to pick you up is better to have the cell number of a bouncer ready). Claudya moved up from the walking the street to escort in an apartament with an ad on a website and now she is a fully legal immigrant (she works part time as a baby sitter). She even regrets her nights on the Cristoforo Colombo: she had many loyal customers and almost zero expenses (no rent, no 800,00 Euro a month for an ad on relazion****iali website). So let's not generalize Don Oreste Benzi style, there are some sex-slaves on our streets but also girls who prefer a quick one in the car, easy cash with no problems, to the more complex business of working as an escort.
    Happy hunting

    Slaves?

i have to agree that most of the girls i meet where quite free. i even had one agree to meet me in the day once after "getting to know me" that said i would say almost all of them are trafficed not stolen but transported in secret to where ever they will work so i can imagine that the "pimps" will get money for this. how much who knows. still i think that a lot of the girls choose this. i have also seen the police controling the girls often. they dont take them but they give them ample chance to say they have been kidnapped. i think true slavers and **** slavers really need a more privat place to do business. still perhaps i am blind. in the end the only way to be sure you are not promoting slavery is to never use a prostitute. as i dont think that maybe of the members on this board are going to stop i think that these discussions go no where

    ......no words......

Only who did the volunteer as my brother did, spending tons of night during which he saw things that it is impossible to write, impossible to think.....
I remember he said, one night, that probably, Jewish prostituets in the Lager (in Germany, during last WWII) lived better that these poor really younger babies, sex slavers.

I agree with you, and also I think that there is not worse blind man of the one who doesn't want to see

(...Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have / Before he can hear people cry? ........Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head, / Pretending he just doesn't see?....The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, / The answer is blowin' in the wind)

For On The Road and Upforit

i agree 100% with you upforit.
on the road, feel free to go or not to go with sw in italy but do not think that any sw in italy lives in a cage, is forced to work like that, receive electrical shocks and is ****d.

also an expansive and luxurios brothel can hide an extreme situation of violence, repression and slavery.

maybe your oriention to escort girls or fkk bars in germany and switzerland is more suggested by your eventual financial level than a morality research.

me, i couldn't afford fee of escort girls or a weekly double trips to germany or switzerland or a high class brothel here.

if a morality choise exists it is to avoid the prostitution in any case:streets, bars, brothels, internet, ... but it is not the aim of our forum!

long life to the road action that - just to use upforit' words, forgive me - can be sometime brutal, dehumanizing, even deadly but in many cases is a woman's free choise.

  11. #578
i saw a couple of television report, and i saw the cage where those **** girls were kept. i saw the electrical wires used to tied them up. and i saw some of the wounds.

i know that italians journalist are able to invent everything, but this time this appears too real.

i hope you're right, and i hope i make a mistake believing this.
but, just in case, i'll start to avoid sws in rome.

    Slaves

i don't want to start a flame war either, but be a little bit skeptical about italian newspapers. this article reads like an adventure novel but, as usual, is short on sources.

was the reporter there during the bust? if not, how does he know what went on? by what his police contact told him, which may or may not be the truth. are there transcripts of the prostitutes' questioning? if so, then why doesn't he quote her directly. and if not, why is he at best paraphrasing and at worst introducing hearsay into a news article. if the "slaves" get their passports taken away from them, how can the police confirm their age?

i'm sure there are some, even many prostitutes that are **** in rome, and i'm also sure that some rent their bodies because they are forced. but i believe that this is the minority. italy has a judiciary and media which seems inclined to take the side of prostitutes who want to get away from that life, even going so far as handing out residence permits to prostitutes who report their pimps.

the perception that no one would ever choose to be a streetwalker has transformed the word "schiave" into journalistic shorthand for "prostitute" and i would not take it literally in most cases. papers routinely refer to streetwalkers as slaves without going into the pesky details of whether that's an accurate description.

this is not to deny that street prostitution can be brutal, dehumanizing, even deadly. but italian reporters are not known for their accuracy and i would take their commentary with a grain of salt.

yesterday, in rome, there were some important police action against criminal gangs that bought **** girls from eastern europe to force them to prostitution.

schiave, in italian, means slave girls.

don't want to start any flame.
i'm a long time monger, you can read my reports to confirm it, but if i read about **** girls forced in slavery i am out of the game.

so, please, in rome think about who you are mongering with, and avoid **** streetwalkers you don't know very well.
choose apartment wgs, if you're able to be sure they wasn't force to work. choose high class escorts, if you can afford them.

i'll monger again, in german's fkk, or in swiss bars, or in any other part of the world where gals freely choose to do this job.
i will never monger in rome anymore, especially with streetwalkers.

just my two cents, no flame please.

    Rome is not dangerous?

One may think that getting mugged and robbed may only involve male perps. It does not in Rome. Your major danger comes in the form of a beshawled Gypsy woman with many children. The children will surround you and pat you down for valuables while the woman usually holding a baby or a large doll will try to distract you and reach in your pockets. All in all, it is distraction from all directions. If you lash out at the woman, you risk hurting the child or the other children close to you. If you do retaliate for her picking or trying your pocket with her, you will find she has a Stanley Razor knife and may well try to slash you. Worse, and this is always true, her man is close by and he will step in start kicking ass on you or slash also.

The second most common form of danger a tourist faces is two to three Gypsy women with no kids and they will surround you and do the same thing. They are usually without men nearby, but nonetheless, they are still dangerous unless you manage to get into a business or someplace more secure. Just be looking out for who is looking at you. If they are looking at you, you are a definite target. So stay aware and dont daydream out on the street. Try to dress Euro. Also keep your camera in a shopping bag instead of out in sight.

There are lots of little Asian luggage and leather goods shops in Rome. Get a neck pouch for your money and cards and valuables. Hard to get your money from under your shirt or blouse.

    rome dangerous???????????

I used to live close to rome and spent many weekends, often alone, int he area near termini at the Irish pub across from the santa maria majori and in the campo. The campo is in the tourist guides as a place to go to have fun. I never had any problem other that the fucking rose guys and photo guys. I have seen groups of brits and americans behaving badly and i guess that it could end in a brawl with the locals. Still from what i saw in the states or the UK or Ireland you whould have you ass stomped long before behaving like they where. Still i never saw it. When i am in the states every night when the pubs close i see a fight. it is like a ritual. the most dangeous thing in the campo is the fear less italians that will literaly try to pick up every tourist chik there. I think that is the only reason they go there cause the touist chicks are easier than the locals. Ohh yeah every othere weekend the commies close the roads and talk about bush. and american. I guess if you are tosensitive then you might be frigtend although most of the commies i meet in italy where more like hippies. ohh stay away from the derby matches.
