This is Malta not Bangkok mate, tourists don't come here to specifically visit a Chinese massage shop in Hamrun or Bkara, so lets be real. Besides the fact that having a massage and maybe an extra right across a bus stop is something far from relaxing.

Generally if you spot a Thai opening close by a Chinese massage this is a good indication that extras are offered.

I did some homework, based upon this hint. I have a list of thai places I built up and tried to find shops best fitting this.

I did find two shops to try. I decided to try one in particular. No extra or HR was offered essentially by this thai masseuse (I didn't ask but sent ALL the usual signals eg fully nude - but she covered me with a towel), she got to brush lightly my valuables, aroused me a LOT I think on purpose first with one leg and then the other. At the end, she said she would like me to come again.

She did allow some roaming on her legs which started really by accident. I'm thinking whether repeat visits might result in something, so I may try again. The massage was the best one I have had in a long while so that was worth it.

Massage on a main road is a good idea. Some people don't care. Tourists don't care and get charged more than us. And also indulge themselves in more expensive pleasures. I cannot be bothered either. Nowadays so what. Those who want to be more discreet can chose from the many shops tucked away in corners.
