Visited Heaven's Gate on Triq Birkirkara on a sunny Thursday afternoon. The location on Google Maps is correct, and is quickly enough reached on foot from Sliema and surroundings. The storefront is not difficult to find.

1. You cannot miss something you do not know anything about.

Unfortunately 2016 has seen the availability of girls at gzira and Marsa further reduced. One of the best ones who worked from gzira, louise, stopped working, and lucienne only seems to work intermittently. 2017 does not seem to augur well.

As much as I hate being the doom and gloom guy reporting the shitty deeds in Malta, unfortunately I am bringing you yet another bad news.

I noticed a scam running in Marsa over the last couple of weeks. Observed it on someone else last week, and experienced it myself this week. Basically there's this woman, brunette, normal height, casual clothes (does not look like a prostitute) loitering in the vicinities of Ventura (opposite to that government building to be precise). You pick her up and asks you to go to the Addolorata cemetery. You give her the money, she starts playing with you, and then a few moments later an accomplice of her jumps in, opens the car door (which she unlocks) and demands money (EUR150 in my case).

Needless to say, I shoved her out of the car, and drove off before they could assault me. Pay attention. I am sure they have been running this operation for a long time because she was constantly looking around when we parked at the cemetery to give the signal.
