Tom,
The train from Schiphol to Centraal Station is definitely cheaper but not faster, especially on a Sunday.
The problem is that you need to buy a ticket -if you don't the fine is 35 Euros on the spot. What can take much time if you do not have the 6 euros - coins only -for the machine is having to wait in the queue for the round trip tickets that you should buy. Hit or miss again in terms of numbers. I have waited 15-20 minutes and I have been there with no one else waiting.
Now for the other rail problem under time pressures. Trains run every 10 minutes from Schiphol and the ride is about 15-20 minutes depending on time of day and possible delays. The train gets to Centraal Station and the tracks are usually the 2 end ones farthest away from the front hall and farthest from the RLD.
That means you have at least 15-20 minute walk to the RLD from there. Taxis will take you but they might also try to rip you off.
The train is fine if you have 5-6 hours or more. Since you have actually less than 4 hours, taxi it all the way.

I want to wish you the best of luck BUT...
Sunday morning just happens to be the worst day of the seven in any of the RLD areas.
All the ladies get there late on Sunday, very late. Just tell the taxi driver to take you to the Wallen RLD. He will get you there.
If you are willing to go ahead and do this "great race" and possibly suffer the consequences of a missed flight, more power to you. I really hope you succeed.
Let us know how you do.

I don't know how to say this diplomatically (I assume you are an experieced international traveler), but but IMHO there is no way in-hell, with your flight schedule, that you can get through immigration/customs, catch a train (or cab), get to the RLD and pick-out a suitable partner. bang-her on a Sunday morning, return to the airport, check-in, get through immigration, and catch your flight in a 4-hour period. I hope I'm wrong. Good Luck.

Posts: 168Thanks for the insight, Uke Boy.
Actually my flight arrives at 9.15 am and the next one departs at 1.15 pm. That means that using your timeframe I should be able to be in Wallen RLD between 10.15 and 11.30. Should I assume that I might be able to catch something good in that time? It will be Sunday. Could you recommend certain street or place I can tell the taxi to drop me off where the action is the best?
Is there cheaper alternative than taxi having in mind my tight schedule?
Thanks,
Tom

Uke Boy knows what he is talking about... take his advice and stay at Schipol. Your best best is to "bang" one of the flight attendants... they usually stay in a hotel close to the airport. Good luck, and keep your powder dry.

Thanks for the info.
After reading what's on the website, I decided to skip the Singel & De Pijp, but after reading your comment, I will for sure visit them as well.
Will post my report in mid-May.
Thanks again,

Been there, tried to do that.
Let's assume you arrive at 07:00 and have departing flight a 11:00. If it arrives on time and you can get off the plane fast enough, you can get by passport control and to the taxi rank by 07:30. You would then on any day, get to the Wallen RLD by 08:00. Taxi fare is about 40-45 Euros depending on the route taken.
I am sorry to say that the pickings at that time on any day are very slim to almost none, depending on your tastes. You may run around in useless circles looking for someone, anyone, to satisfy your needs. And you may, and will likely come away with nothing.
It really is hyper hit or miss in the morning and mostly miss. The best morning ladies come on at no earlier than 10:00 and usually at 11:00.
You would then need to get a taxi back to Schiphol (another wasted 40-45 Euros) by no later than 09:30 to catch your flight since passport control lines at Schiphol, while better than what they once were, can still be bad - a hit or miss situation. You probably won't miss your connecting flight but you may still worry like hell. Also they now have x-ray security check at the gate and that will add some more time and sometimes significant time to your boarding depending on the size of the aircraft.
Good luck if you do try it. I tried to do it, it was not successful and ultimately very stressful.

Posts: 168how is the main RLD in the morning
I will have 4 hours stopover in Amsterdam in the morning. Is this enough time to visit the main RLD and have some action - how is it in the morning? How much would it cost me and how much time would be a taxi from the airport to the RLD?
Thanks,
Tom

Posts: 31Fedex, you must have got all the info you want from Ignatzmice, but very briefly;
Singel - like De Pijp an area more for the locals generally not visited by tourists passing through. I wasnt aware of its existence during my first trip. Usually an area with a load of nice girls but not as cute as many in the main RLD. You can still get girls at 35 Euro for a 20 minute suck and fuck. As they cater more for locals the girls tend to offer better value as they they have to rely more on repeat customers.
De Pijp - like the Singel in that its more frequented by locals. I haven't been offerred a 35 Euro session here but then I've only sampled the talents of the area a few times. Although rather quiet during the day I've always been impressed with the quality of the girls on offer, but then that's a subjective thing isn't it.
Fedex - check these places out. I'm sure they will enrich your trip
