Looks like someone made an error and added an extra 0 as 800 would definitely have been more believable. 8000 would be a nice figure in a place like say, Japan or maybe even for one of the film stars in Phillipines or Korea.

It is just that among the Western European countries, Holland is by far the cheapest place to monger. Of course, you can pay what they they will take from you and if this was your price, then it looks like someone else did the screwing.

Another report from YAB YUM club.

I returned there with a business partner on a monday night. There were a lot of girls and we each picked two. We ordered a 800 euros bottle of Champagne (Crystal Roderer) and had a nice chat with the girls (3 dutch and 1 german). After 30 min of discussion we decided to go upstairs in the big suite (two beds and a huge jacuzzi).

If you hang out there along the main street chances are you might see them.
