Yeah, that was my second and last trip to the RLD there. My first experience was totally different, about 9 years ago:

Got to Amsterdam for 36 hours stopover on the way from L.A. WITH the wife.

Just came back from Amsterdam. Very disappointed. After years of going to delightful Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia…), I guess I was expecting too much.
