I just read an article about prostitution in Oslo. It said that there are 1400 prostitutes in the city, and about 38% of them are from Norway. This means that the competition between the girls are high (Oslo is not that big) and that the prices are going DOWN, according to this article. Maybe this means Oslo is worth checking out? Wolfy, Oslo is no Prague. Of the 38% Norwegian prostitutes most if not all are street gals who are heroin addicts that you dont want to touch with a 10 ft pole. The rest of the Norwegian pros are mostly old, washed up, overpriced ones doing incall or outcall work.

Prices may be going down, but my impression is that it only applies to street walkers. Thanks guys for all of the info on Oslo. This was all really useful for my own trip there last weekend. Friday night was busy when I explored the area at around 11pm. Skippergata seemed the busiest street. The top end of the road, nearer Karl Johanes, had a few unsavoury-looking characters around looking drugged although they weren't being in any way threatening. The rest of the street down as far as Myntgata had a good selection of girls, probably about twenty in all, with a mix of black girls, eastern european types and some drugged-looking locals. Magnus, I'd say 80% of the street and incall talent pool here is not Norwegian - they are Easter European! Maybe another 10% is Asian and a few Africans.
