A quick update on Oslo’s strip clubs. There are about six clubs, of varying quality. I’ve listed them by order of best-to-worst:

1. VIP Go-Go Bar, Bernt Ankersgt.5 (near Youngstorvet). Tel: Cover: 100 NOK (around US$14). Usually six-seven girls each day (closed Sundays). Most from Eastern Europe, 7-10. Very good show. While the seating could be better, it’s still the best place to visit for a strip-tease. There are also some Thai girls in the club each night, but they are likely from a Thai massage parlor in the same building.
2. The Ten Club, Haakon VIIs gt. 5-B (close to Nationaltheatret). Web site: http://www.the10club.no. Cover: NOK 100 (plus mandatory 20 NOK for clothes hanger for jackets). This club has the best location and best place for striptease. You can always find a good seat around the main stage. Unfortunately, not always as many girls as VIP. Lately only 3 on a typical evening. The quality varies from 5 to 10. Private dances for 600 NOK (around US$80), but you’re not allowed to touch the dancers. Girls from Norway, Sweden and UK.
3. Diamond Go-Go Bar, Tolbugt 8-B, second floor (a couple of blocs from Karl Johangsgate and the central train station). Cover: NOK 100 (plus mandatory 20 NOK for clothes hanger for jackets). Generally good selection of girls, although recently there were only 3 on several visits. The girls typically range from 6 to 10 and come from Eastern Europe or Spain. Private dances cost 1000 NOK.
4. Oslo Go-Go Bar, Pilestredet 17 (a couple of blocs from Hotel Bristol and Karl Johansgate). Web site: http://www.oslogogobar.no. Cover: NOK 100 (plus mandatory 20 NOK for clothes hanger for jackets). On a recent evening had 5 very attractive girls from Eastern Europe, 7-10 in quality. But with few customers, they were very aggressive in asking for ladies’ drinks and private dances (NOK 700). The interior isn’t very good, with few seats near the main stage.
5. Blaze, Grensen 1 (entrance Mollergaten, close to Stortorvet). Web site: http://www.blaze.no. Cover: NOK 100 (plus mandatory 20 NOK for clothes hanger for jackets). The show usually doesn’t start until 11 PM. Usually 3-5 girls, 7-10. The main problem is the interior, which hardly has any seats, so you end up having to stand in a crowded area by the bar.
6. String, Skippergt.21 (close to Karl Johansgate and Diamond). Cover: NOK 200. This is your worst bet. The cover charge twice as expensive as the other clubs, while the quantity of girls is usually low (3 or so) and the interior is the worst of any of the clubs. Only a few seats available with clear view of the little main stage. Girls from Norway, Eastern Europe and UK, usually 6 to 9.

You're right I should have fucked her. I hung out instead with a couple of girls that worked for my hotel (not hookers). I knew I didn't really have a chance with either of them but I did have a good non-sexual time with them. Never saw a SW the whole time I was in Norway. I believe its the first country I have ever been to where I didn't see one.

johan007 you're 100% right. Norway is expensive not only in our hobby but expensive for everything. I visted Oslo and Bergen and saw no SWs or trace of reasonably priced action. I was approached by a girl in Bergen who wanted me to take her to a karaoake club and she later promised to come back to the hotel. Since she was extremely drunk I chose not to go for it. It turned out to be my only opportunity in Norway.

There is a scene in Oslo, but it is mostly in-service at studios or appartments, but some will also visit hotels.

I can not give you info on costs, as this vary, but normal "full service" is about NOK.1500 (USD.200) for one shot. For a few hundred NOK more you can have 1 full hour, with repeated shots, if you are up to it.

As described in the "old forum", SW can be found as well, at a lower cost, but not as clean.
