As good nightlife spot, I would definitely just go to the disco Faust in Krakow. On Saturday night is like the eternal hunting grounds. But is more, much more. Just go to the town square and one of the many dive bars. The best are quite hard to find. They are all in the basement, really beautiful vaults under the city. At first you walk right past it, but later on you that did. Ein else just throw on a Polish on the square. They are always more than willing to help you here.

Krakow is simply the most beautiful city. Here you'll find plenty of hotels. The hotels I have been to were all very neat.

Spent 4 days in Krakow. Simple message. Don't bother if you are thinking of it as a possible destination for some fun. Take your wife there instead. It's a pretty city with a beautiful Market square. I wasn't there for the beauty but ended up taking the sights in as the punting is nothing short of a disaster.
