It really depends on the locations: In case I've to pay in advance you usually get back the change at the recpetion desk. If later the massage should have been great it's easy to tip the girl giving her the money directly. I've never been to Desert Rose, but I have been to a lot of erotic massages in Warsaw. So I think I can still answer you to some degree here. First I think it's safe to say Desert Rose isn't geared towards the locals as much as visiting tourists. The price of 350 zl / h is ludicrously expensive for Warsaw. Especially if it's just a manual ending. Local opinions on Garsoniera are scarce, and I didn't find one that thought it was especially worth it. A bit of a gamble on average massages with average masseuses, or worse. It seems like they're also suspiciously similar to another expensive salon chain here called Shambala. Again, that's just what I read, but if they were so great I'd expect to hear a lot more about them, even given the price.

Maybe you're paying extra for some atmosphere or the ability to even just drop in without a prior appointment. I couldn't say myself what that's worth.

As for tipping, I wouldn't bother in this case at all given the price. But it's a free country, sort of.
