I must admit that I was a little sceptical about Griffon's post until something similar happened to me. I was walking in the old town at around 8 pm when a girl approached and asked me if I had a few zlotys for her to buy a sandwich. She spoke good english and was a rather tall blonde with slim body, angelic pretty face and beautiful blue eyes. She explained me that she was student in Warsaw far from her home and was struggling for money. She had a part-time work but it was very low salary. She seemed shy and uncomfortable with begging money, so I wouldn't have invited her to a good restaurant for the first time.

Luckily I had no coin, just a 50 zlotys note, so I had to invite her to a sandwich shop. She took only a cheap sandwich (3 zlotys) and I ordered a Kebab for me. We spoke a little but she leaved me quickly without finishing her sandwich, and I was left alone in the street with a dripping Kebab. 30 seconds later I saw her from behind walking with a young guy. I guess she gave half the sandwich to her boyfriend and they had to go on finding more money to survive.

The following days I walked like a tourist (with a map and a photo camera) at lunch and dinner time, in the old town, in front of the university, in Nowy Swiat, Chmielna and in the galeria under Marzalkowska / Jerozolimskie, no girl stopped me. Just a few real beggars. Guys, you must be very lucky to find a student girl begging for money and to score with her.

Thanks for the great work posting on LOPA. I have been through most of the report and came across some amazing stories, and some less amazing.

I personally prefer outcalls because i find more cozy in a nice hotel room. On the other hand you can have some surprise at the door, ie. wrong girl or/and a driver/pimp who wants to collect the money, and I wonder what happens if you try and refuse the girl. Lots of hotels have no problem with girls visiting. Some have girls hanging around in there (don't know which) but a very sure private place is an apartment. I prefer apartments, as they have facilities hotel rooms usually don't have. Old Town Apartments (www.warsawshotel.com), OTA, has often last-minute deals for about 60 Euro and Capital Apartments (www.topwarsawhotels.com) also.

I stayed in a wonderful, very quiet apartment in the Old Town (a few meters from the big square) via OTA, called Krzywe Kolo 2, for just 64 Euro last-minute. No hotel room beats that apartment. It even has a DVD player and OTA's "Piwna Spa" has even a sauna!

i saw agnes (sexatlas.pl) or agnieszka-21 (odloty.pl) for 24 hours (i gave her 2200 pln by my own decision) and had a fantastic time with her. this young girl speaks excellent english without accent, is a great tour guide and wonderful to spend social time with, she goes to opera and such cultural events too and behaves very polite all the time. noone will guess what she does for a living. she is always in a good mood, smiles a lot and has wonderful eyes which i could not stop watching.
