I have decided to report my relatively recent experience (about 2 weeks ago) with Sophia (sp?), from Intendente. Many here have stated the place is full of pimps, and that most of the girls are drug-users. Fair enough, but the Pozo also exhibits many of those characteristics, which hasn't stopped many gentlemen from attending it regularly. Like in most SW points around the world, the trick is to filter away the druggies (i.e, ignore) and to search for the decent-looking girls, who i assure you do exist in Intendente. Maybe not always, you may be unlucky and encounter a batch of only druggies, but when you do it will be worth it, especially considering the low prices.

I was just strolling along Admiral Reys Avenue that afternoon, after a decent meal in restaurant Portugalia, when I saw in the distance in the Intendente area a tall, slim girl standing around. I walked across to her, and through sign language managed to work out that her name was Sophia and that the price was 20€, 1 pop. I accepted her offer, and up we went a nearby building into a small bedroom. While it obviously wasn't the best session I've had, it was certainly very good. Very GFE, she let me do DATY, DFK and gave me BBBJ, which was a rather pleasant surprise. She didn't rush the time at all either. While her body was very slim, I found no signs of drug abuse.

This is why I believe Intendente to be the best deal around in Lisbon, although like Spider previously stated before, there are definitely better areas for mongering in Europe, which is why I avoid coming here when I can.

Mur is 98% certain that this is his old sparring partner Suzi of Carcavelos, moved a couple of stations down the linha to São João de Estoril. Mur never did have time for those dark smoky caverns known as clubs or ‘boites’ where you pay an entrance fee, attempt to converse over the music, buy overpriced drinks, agree to go to a motel at about 0330 when your ‘tesão’ has just expired, and then pay €200 to a girl whose appearance under harsh light, and whose behaviour once you are in the room, are totally different from what you had expected in the ‘White Elephant’.

And it is simply a scandal that such places should ask for €35 at the door, as a prelude to all the expenses to come. For €30, London, you can purchase a perfectly respectable fuck, chosen from a ‘line-up’, at Calçada Garcia 7, ‘3’, or at Avenida 5 de Outubro, 267, ‘1E’.

If these reliable lower-end brothels have closed or moved, the community needs to be informed by, among others, Kama L, to whom fraternal greetings from the city of Babylon.

Here is a report from london99 concerning unfulfilled desires this sunday night past in Lisbon. Having worked all weekend :-( and missed out on the beach and other delights (including no beer), desided to repair to Birro Alto, watch some football, get some beer and some food. Having watched 30mins of Porto followed by 45 minutes of Sporting Lisbon (both dull) I departed for food.

Highlight of the night, Va E Volte Resturante (Rua Diano de Noticies) Bife Lombo and damn good half bottle of red.

Taxi to Marquis de Pombal, for gentle walk up the street we know so well. Gallery club was shut at 11:30pm (no loss by recent reports). Night and day was open but 35 euros admission ! with 2 drinks, no way,little wavering up the street but decided noway. Evening was going to be a little entertainment, but again who knows ... ?
Briefly considered EB but again on recent reports the hill was un appealing never mind the clubs.

So where is any quality in Lisbon ? Londonman has been through the Poco and to the clubs with no success. I like the clubs and a line up. Can Night&Day justify charging 10 euro entrance extra on a Sunday compared to Friday?

"Poço" refers to the name of a street of downtown Lisbon. You'll get the exact location entering "Poço do Borratem Lisboa" in the Google Maps search box.

There are no strip clubs there. Only 2 or 3 downscale cheap brothels in the vicinity.

Prostitution in Portugal is not illegal, but also is not regulated in any way. A police officer is always present in that small street, but does not interfere with the girls business. Occasionally the police raids that street (and others) and take a few girls (illegal immigrants) for identification inside the nearby police station. A few hours past, they are working again. As long as you don't perform sex in public you should be ok on that matter...

Did you check out the gogo dancers in front Hawai and Seven Seas in Docas? Quite hot!

After enjoying the resturants and bars of Docas on Friday night, around 1am I headed back into town to M. de Pombal area to look around. First went to Gallery club and was informed that it was 50euros admission, no thanks. Walked on to Night and Day, 25euros including 2 drinks, ok but still expensive. Next 2 hours spent by the bar chatting to some of the girls and to one local guy in bad french, we found as a common language. I was dissapointed though. No better than a 7 amongst the girls there and some were aggressive. 2 I bought drinks for (12 euros) as they spoke reasonable English but there was no spark there.

Left about 4am, the place was half empty and almost all the girls had gone.

Should have stayed in Docas and taken my chances there, some lovely girls in the Havana bar.
