Yes, but one thing that doesn't show up in those studies is the absorption time. For all STDs that require absorption into the bloodstream (especially HIV) there has to be enough time for absorption before going to the bathroom and washing / showering eliminates the possibility of absorption. The absorption time involving a penis is quite long. The straight guys who get HIV almost always were in relationships where they rolled over and went to sleep after unprotected vaginal intercourse, leaving plenty of absorption time.
