Just so everyone else knows, I am forum member that Monger 88 was referring to. My experience girl-wise was overall poor doing my recent visit to Lisbon. I didn't want to post that, though. Because every country forum has its own personality, and some really flame on naysayers. But this forum seems to be somewhat thoughtful and contemplative, and I like that, so I'll chime in. Also, I do feel obligated to those who may be preparing for a first time trip to Portugal, as I was a few months ago.

Yes I visited Michelle's, New Center, Jardim, and a couple of other massage places that I found on the internet that weren't discussed here. They were all terrible. Except for Michelle's, I ran out of all of them in about 60 seconds. I also visited both EB and the other place (name escapes me now), both relatively high end escort bars. They are not FKKs. There are no saunas, massage rooms, nor any other facilities on site. They are just bars, with escorts travelling to work here from Brazil. There were some definite lookers here, but the compensation requests were too high. And if you throw in the entrance fee, drinks, and possible barfines, the tab would be really high. I mostly used these bars for a nightcap, as my hotel was nearby.

I think that Monger88 is right. If the girls are as pretty and talented as he says, the private escort scene is the best venue. Its just not one that I have ever preferred. But women going this way makes sense. Technology and social networking allows it. If you were a pretty young thing, would you want to hang out at some dingy apartment complex all day? Or would you rather just make appointments? Do you work less? Probably. But its much more convenient and lends itself to discretion. You don't have to roam around and risk being seen by someone you know. And if this is for supplemental income, than it probably suffices. Portugal isn't the only place. This is happening all over the world. Its the 21st century. Its the world we live in. Johns and Janes can connect electronically and instantly. The only loser is the John, since he can't see what she really looks like until she shows up.

But if I were to go back to Portugal, I would probably go to EB. It only dawned on me that there were Brazilian women here until I visited EB. The Portugese connection. Of course! But here is the issue.

I have been very frank that the quality of the ladies I have seen from escortprivada have been a cut above the ladies I have seen at the Lisbon brothels, both in terms of looks and performance. That is not to say that I did not find fuckable girls at the brothels, just not as great.

The posters I correspond with regarding Barcelona have been disappointed as of late with the Barcelona "big-name" brothels, too. But the looks and services of the Barcelona independents, whether a guy goes to her apartment, she comes to his place, or they meet at a trick-pad type "brothel" at a specified time, has been absolutely fantastic recently.

I wonder if we are encountering a generation of girls who have moved beyond the brothel concept, leaving only the older and less attractive ones there? We do not live in a world in which younger girls sit around and socialize as much, so they would get bored sitting around waiting for a customer. Even if they are in college, the current nature of the schoolwork seems to involve less sitting and reading a textbook that might be done while waiting.

It just seems to me that most hot young girls have gravitated to a lifestyle where they prefer that appointments are booked via cellphone or email either by the customer or by the agency booker, so they do not have as much wasted time where they are "working" but not getting paid at the brothel or the late-night club. I reviewed this week some casas downtown, and discovered a 'new' one which offers excellent value for money.

Clinique de massagem, avenida Marques de Tomar, 5/1, is now closed. The full floor is under re-construction.

I went then to New Center, av Marques de Tomar, 33/5th floor. The casa is now in very poor conditions. Showers are semi-broken, walls would deserve painting, sheets are doubtful. As promised, let me summarize my experience in Lisbon.
